We had the best experience at the Piping Kettle Soup located at Commissioners today. I went with my wife and kids and since... first interaction the servers were excellent. we were involved with the kids and ended up forgetting our soup there. The servers(unfortunately I forgot their names) left the attached message in car and had taken care of it while we were away. Simplegestures that makes the difference. Love the food. It's affordable and tastes pretty good. I've seen some bad reviews but mostly good. The food for the most part... was nice and fresh tasting. Soup was phenomenal and Cuban sandwich was pretty good. No crackers which should be a given butrestaurants in my opinion slip up every now and again. Never know what the server is going through y'know. Other than that itwas prompt and tasty. Would recommend the butternut squash soup and any bisque. 9/10 would recommend. Read more

My mom is visiting from Nova Scotia and she has restrictions when eating do to her health as well as she has a hard time getting... around. I heard that the Piping Kettle on commissioners Rd offers good soups which is one thing she can have. So I had calledyesterday to inquire about the soups as she is not able to have anything with large chunks in it and they said that they wouldbe able to puree her soup for her. we were very happy and excited to hear that and that she would be able to enjoy a nice lunchout. But when I arrived I was surprised that there was NO inside dinning or OUT side dinning options. How the heck are you ableto enjoy a nice bowl of soup when you can't sit down to eat it. The girl at the counter suggested that we could stand at thecounter and have our lunch. ( that's just sad and upsetting). On the Web site it shows inside dinning , take out , deliver. Ithink that if you don't offer the inside dinning you have to make sure your website indicates that. So needles to say we DID NOTorder lunch at your establishment. Very very disappointed . I think management needs to rethink this and open up the insidedinning as it is time and all other business now have inside dinning. So I give the Piping Kettle NO star rating. My husband made a review and said we didn't get our sandwich. Funny these guys blame skip in their reply but our bag was sealed... and not tampered with at all. It's the restaurants responsibility to make sure the order is accurate, not skips. If the sandwichwas in the order we wouldn't have received 2 buns with garlic spread. We also got our order in a bag that's stapled. It says alot about your customer service when you blame the delivery guy. We ordered 2 soups. 1 sandwich and one bun all seperately. Ifskip stole the sandwich why did we get a second bun that looked like a sandwich? Come on guys at least admit your mistake, itsays a lot about a company that blames others. I'll be ordering from piping kettle again but never your location. I adviseeveryone else to choose another location too. These guys don't care about owning their mistakes or customer satisfaction. Best soup in town. Best bang for your buck. Probably the only place in the entire London area where you can get a Cuban... sandwich. It?s not the most authentic but still amazing nonetheless. Great service, friendly people, bomb food. Read more

I absolutely LOVE the soup options here!! Vegan and vegetarian things on the menu which is good for me. I always make sure to... get an onion bun with garlic butter!! I think my favourite soup so far has been the jalapeño cheddar, or the broccoli cheddar?there?s so many good ones. Great sizes too, the large will fill you up for sure. Read more

Mushroom soup was decent, bun was delicious and soft. Ordered on door dash and had no issues, soup was still fairly warm. There... were other ingredients in the cream of mushroom than what is traditional, I'm not sure what, I think onions for sure. Didn'tbother me was still yummy.
