Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Food does not look bad but I had a terrible stomach ache after. It seems to me the rolls were... pre-made too long, not to mention the udon was served two minutes after our order. The crunchy flakes were not crunchy butsoaked in the sauce. Three types of rolls tasted the same, can’t blame them as they had almost the same ingredients. Udon wastoo oily and salty. After all it might just be me but I probably won’t come back in the near future. Read more

Never thought I’d find a fancy sushi place in London with REALLY REALLY GOOD SUSHI ????\n\nWe had such a wonderful dinner... here. The Scallop salad was the BEST I’ve ever had. So fresh and no fishy taste. The citrus dressing gave the salad a niceflavour and there was a good amount of scallops for two people to enjoy comfortably. The sashimi platter was so beautifullyplated and everything complemented each other very well.\n\nHats off to the loaded calamari roll for being FILLED with crispycalamari in each roll! Excellent place. Food is delicious and very affordable. Good sized portions, nice service, and the place has a nice vibe.... Background music is good, not too loud, and AC is set to a nice temperature.\nWe ordered the rock and roll and Philadelphiaplates along with an entree of beef gyozas and it was a good sized meal for two. Visited on opening day and so happy I did! Rolls were stuffed and the tempura came with a creamy sauce I have not tried... elsewhere and it was amazing. Plaza Sushi is located in downtown London and is a small to midsize sit-down restaurant, priced towards premium options as per... their menu options that include omakase and izakaya tapas.\n\nWe ordered a sushi platter, aburi (torched sushi), udon, chickenpanko with tonkatsu sauce and chirashi don.\n\nFood review:\n1) the nigiri was excellent\n2) the roll was not bad and could beimproved with less crispy filler\n3) the udon was excellent with a flavorful sauce\n4) the chicken panko breading was too thick,although portions were good and the sauce is amazing\n5) chirashi cuts were very good, and the rice was properly seasoned. Ithink adding tamago would have accentuated the serving perfectly (my suggestion)\n\nPrice was a bit in the higher side and frommy initial visit, I\'d say their cooked offerings are a step above other Japanese restaurants.\n\nAs per other downtowneateries, parking is highly variable and contingent on whether there are any events on thale particular day you\'re visiting on.
