Went to tahinis around 7:30pm and ordered some messy fries and I always get extra chicken added. Normally I go and get a normal... amount of chicken even tho I asked for extra. Got the chicken shawarma wrap. Heard about this place from lots of people so I decided to give it a try when I was in the area.... The chicken itself tasted under seasoned in my opinion. I asked for Hot spice level but it felt like there was no sauce at all.Wouldn?t return. Read more
Visited the store to get a chicken and rice bowl but got the Tahinis special for $16 + taxes as the staff said it has more... quantity for the extra $3 compared to the normal bowl. Once home, found that I actually got lesser quantity than what I wouldhave gotten in their normal black takeaway bowl. All I got "extra" because I paid extra for their special is two pita bread. Ontop of this, the purple salad I got with the platter was stale. Upon calling the store, they were quick to offer me a $5 creditbut I choose not to use it, especially when there are other brands offering better value for money. Friendly staff member, served us at our table which was nice once the samosas were ready! The messy fries? I cannot even get... enough of these. I could live off of them?. Seriously amazing. So flavourful and not too spicy for someone who is not able toeat super spicy food!! Recommend 10/10 every time. This time however, my partner had the samosas and I did not because after himeating 2, he said they tasted a bit like cleaners? Not sure what happened this time because we have had them before from theWellington location and they were great. May try to order again and see if it was a fluke, but thought it was worth mentioning!Cleanly restaurant inside as well, cute too! My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and LOVE IT. PS Bitcoin station here too. Chicken Shawarma and... Beef with rice was out of this world yummy. Customer service was great, but we didn?t like the wraps we ordered. The pita bread wasn?t fresh at all. They barely put garlic... sauce in all wraps. One of the wraps was with vegetables and tahini sauce, the tahini sauce was disgusting and smelled very bad.Had to throw the wrap in garbage. It was my first time trying their food.
