We went here tonight..the food was awful. There was more batter then fish,the fries were so over cooked..and then they forgot to... give us our gravy...drove all the way back to get it...then was accused of being a liar. This was bad serves and bad food. Wouldnot recommend this place at all..you could enjoy the fish straight out of the thames river better..shame shame Read more

I gotta say I really like this tiny house that serves big portions of fish and chips. I ordered the 2 piece halibut. They gave... me an extra piece because he felt my pieces were on the small side. How nice! And it was tasty. The fries had a hearty texturewhich I enjoyed but couldn't come close to finishing. Parking is easy peasy. Staff are friendly. Service is quick. The fries were so burnt that more than half were completely black. The fish was soggy on the inside, and chewy on one end. All... the fish and fries were in the same sorry state. Firstly, as the name suggests, it?s take out only, out of this tiny building located at a very busystreet corner. They wrap the fish and chips in brown paper sheets, which to me is usually a good indication of a place thatknows what they?re doing. It?s like a bouquet of fish and chips. Makes for a lovely gift to oneself. Get ready for a shock whenyou open the paper, cause they give you an unbelievable amount of fries (not exaggerating)! I?m gonna have leftover fries fordays, and they are really good (similar style to NY Fries, but thicker). Not too starchy nor very oily. I had the 2 piece codand it was fresh, meaty, and lightly battered. My order came with coleslaw, which was regular but good. First time trying this fish and chip place here in London. I ordered two pieces of Haddock fish with an order chips to go with... it. The two fish were average maybe bigger size that they tasted good. the fries were great they're kind of like the oldfashioned homemade fries. But I got so many fries I can only eat a third of them and I still have quite a bit left over as yousee in the containers. I think I got one of those like super large bags of fries you get from Costco that you can feed 10 peoplewith. Overall everything was good. Read more
