When passing through lone pine on our way to mammoth, this is usually a reliable stop for us to get some food for the next leg... of the trip. The restroom is usually well kept and the food is consistent. that is more than you can usually ask of a fastfoodlocation. Due to its remote location I do find that their price is a bit higher than local Carl's we find in Bakersfield.However this is to be expected. Read more

This Carl?s Jr. is pretty good. I say that because many places like this one, in the middle of ?nowhere? tend to be neglected.... But this is not the case here, This Carl?s Jr. is on your way up to Mammoth and or the Bishop area if you?re in SouthernCalifornia and the location seems to be perfect for a pit stop on the long road ahead or back depending on which directionyou?re coming from. We tend to stop here on the way back to Socal. We usually stop here for the bathroom because they?re cleanand well kept but this time we also got some food. The staff is attentive and friendly and the tables were all clean and overallthe restaurant is well kept. Something that is interesting is that the gas station cashier is also inside the restaurant. Wesat inside to get a vreak before resuming the long drive home. We ordered a few burgers, fries and the usual ?Carl?s? food andit was all good. I must have not been to a Carl?s Jr. in a long time because the prices seem to really have one up, but it iswhat it is. Read more
Ordered and paid for a beyond famous burger. They gave me a regular burger (see photo). Already down the highway before noticing... therefore couldn't notify them and had to eat it anyways. Read more
