The restaurant is located right across the street from the Whitney Portal Hotel and Hostel. Went for a carbo loading dinner the... night before starting off for Mt Whitney. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for our carryout meal after hiking Mt. Whitney. It was hot, delicious, and hit the spot. They... provided paper plates and plenty of napkins which was nice. The only negative was that we couldn't pay via credit card, which wedidn't know about until we were picking it up (they said their machine was down). Haven't even received our food yet but at this point with the service we're not coming back. They force a minimum 10% tip no... matter what but they don't clean the tables after patrons have left. We wanted to eat outside and there were open tables thathad not been cleaned yet. We asked if the tables could be cleaned but the man at the register got huffy and handed us a rag toclean it ourselves. I'm sure it's great and my experience is an anomoly, but for $11.26, I got a warm near beer that had been dropped on the floor... and no food. I never said an unkind word and tipped upfront. Read more

Good pie. Whenever I get up in this area, we try to swing by. Conquered Mt. Langley yesterday and it was good to get get grub... for a change. The crust was a little thicker than my liking, but it had crunch on the ends. Got a pitcher of the IPA to wash itall down, so of course the pizza was great ???? ???? Read more
Our pizza was perfect! We ordered the Meat Lovers pizza with hand tossed crust and it was loaded with meat and very... filling. The wait was about 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we got the pizza brought to us, so be patient. Also, theydo seem to be short staffed, so the tables aren't cleaned right away and the floor was dirty as well.
