Solid cappuccino, although for some reason, it really does depend on the barista that makes your drink. We usually go on Sundays... and very rarely have a problem with our drink. However, The quality from a different crew on a recent Saturday did not hit themark. Stick with the lovely ladies on Sunday, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Read more
Needing a cool, refreshing & caffeinating libation, my journey led me to Caffe Luxxe and & I was pleantly surprised. Caffe... Luxxe is located at the 2nd & PCH shopping center, adjacent to Whole Foods. Parking can be either with validation in thestructure or free at the marina parking across the street. After perusing the drink options I went with their popular CaffeNico. Caffe Nico- Espresso, candied orange, oatmilk & cinnamon. I told the barista I drink coffee cream, no sugar. Herecommended the Caffe Nico, and I'm glad he did. Cinnamon forward, the Caffe Nicco was refreshing, energizing, and every otherpositive adjective ending with -ing. Service was good. My drink was made ASAP. One of the baristas chatted it up with meabout coffee kombucha, and he seemed very enthusiastic about coffee. Caffe Luxxe marks the spot for luxurious coffee. I came here on a Sunday and it was quite busy (possibly because of the Farmers Market across the street). The line moved quickly... and they prepared the coffee as soon as I ordered it. Soooo I'm not a big coffee kinda guy but I'm totally open to new things. I was excited to try something new and out of my... comfort zone. Caffe Luxxe is such a cute shop located in a big busy plaza. I attend a indoor cycling class in the same plazajust upstairs. There is plenty of parking, it has a parking garage with levels. It?s located off 2nd and PCH and the plaza isCalled 2nd and PCH. Waking in to the shop it?s very clean and minimal, everything looks new and very well maintained. Menu wasvery simple and not overwhelming at all. On my visit I got a Iced Caramel Macchiato, it was so refreshing and tasty for a hotsummer day. What great coffee Caffe Luxxe serves. Being a huge fan of coffee, I was super excited to try this Cafe. Caffe Luxxe offers... unique luxury coffee. I was very impressed with my iced vanilla latte. I've had my fair share of iced vanilla lattes at variouscafes, but at Caffe Luxxe, there was a difference. My coffee tasted authentic, smooth, and it had a perfect combination betweenespresso, vanilla syrup, and milk. It tasted how a vanilla latte should taste. The cafe itself is a great space that offersplenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can bring your laptop and work, or you can even bring your dog and sit out on thepatio. If you're hungry, they also offer small bites and snacks. There are several parking locations to choose from aswell. Caffe Luxxe definitely hit the spot, and I might have found my new coffee spot. Probably my favorite coffee in Long Beach. The price is not outrageous and the quality is consistent. The coffee is definitely a... traditional American style that has a smooth taste. So if you like strong flavored European style coffee this place is not foryou. Read more
