Expensive but not worth the prices, taco tuesday gives you cheap prices on tacos and beer. Meals tasted like preseasoned, store... bought entrees, meats, gravies and sauces. Beans and rice tasted old like they made a week's worth and kept serving until allgone. 2 stars instead of one because staff was friendly and tried to improve our food. They do serve breakfast but we werehungry for real Mexican food. That was hopeless. Only one bathroom that needed cleaning. Read more
Went for taco Tuesday and they had a decent selection of tacos, with meat and also vegetarian. I got the grilled fish and asada.... Everything you'd expect from a taco ...they were also having a $2 Coors light promo. A small location with limited parking inthe area. Read more

Really liked the food here, on par with the other couple really good Mexican restaurants in Long beach. They have daily specials... which are very fairly priced. Really enjoyed the torta which was big enough to make two meals out of. Nice neighborhood vibe aswell. Will definitely be going back to Great Mex. Oh let me not forget the customer service was great. Charging $3.75 for 15 cinnamon chips is a rip off. They used to have a perfect portion to price ratio. Now they give you an 8th... of the bag filled for that price. It was so little that I had to count. 15 chips. 15! Come on? These were my favorite; however,now I feel ripped off buying these. If it wasn?t for Covid I would have asked to return it and get my money back. If I wouldhave seen the quantity inside I wouldn?t even had bothered buying it.
