I'll give this place one more shot seeing as maybe my experience was a one off. My server was inattentive. I had to ask for... basic things multiple times to be brought to me (refill on water, napkins etc) and even had to ask a different server forsomething to be brought to me as my server was too busy chatting with his buddies. I ordered the spicy tonkutsu. It was notspicy at all. I am wondering if I was served the wrong dish, especially because I realized towards the end of my meal that anegg was not included in my ramen. The shoyu ramen was filling and more than enough, and the broth was delicious. Customer service was fast and polite, and the... food was brought quickly after ordering. Only giving a 4 for the cost, 21 dollars in total for 1 bowl and 1 iced green tea,counting a less than asked for gratuity fee. Read more
Miso ramen with pork. Nice presentation, tasted pretty good. Broth is not as rich, deep and flavorful as other Ramen spots & the... bowls aren't as deep. Price doesn't jive with the product size & quality compared to Santouka or other ramen spots, but it'sdecent if you don't want to drive to Torrance or OC. Read more
Sight seeing in Long Beach marina area. It is lunch time and just simply Google a and find this small ramen restaurant. It is... about 5mins driving. Parking by the street in the front. It is week day so there are less customers. We try Shoot, Miso andTonkasu ramen. The last one is the best. Service is also the best. By the way, their restaurant is very clean. Got the tonkostsu ramen- the chashu pork is so buttery and light, I'd order just a plate of that by itself. Also ordered fried... calamari and it was good! - then went back again for spicy tonkostsu ramen and a chashu steamed bun and it was great! Read more
Ordered the Miso Ramen with Pork belly, Chicken Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura roll, togo. Everything was wonderful, I only wish I... would have gotten more than a pea size amount of wasabi. Really good food, just be aware the orders to go of the soup are smaller than when you eat there, I recommend coming during the... lunch hours because they have good specials if you are hungry and ready to eat! Big portions when eating in but really smallwhen ordering out ???? Read more
