Great little spot close to the hotel we are staying at decent menu too so decided to grab dinner to go and have a quick drink.... Super friendly staff quick service. Got the bangers and champs and sausage rolls. Let me tell you some of the best mashedpotatoes are here. I regret not getting a double portion. There shredded beef gravy is on point as well. Sausage rolls are alittle different from other versions I have had, but still a fantastic starter. Will definitely be back. Read more
So this is a great place to hang out and enjoy your day. KC's has great food & drinks. They provide TV's both inside & out to... watch your favorite sporting events. Lively atmosphere & super friendly staff. Mr Hoover goes out of his way to make sure thatall of his clients are happy. I?ve been here many times and this most recent visit was the best. I always enjoy the Irish breakfast but I tried the Buttermilk... Biscuits Breakfast Sliders, I don?t know if I missed it on the menu before but it was delicious. The Bloody Mary was phenomenal,good ratios on everything and they rim the glass with celery salt and salt. The garnish was a pick with a gherkin, olive and aPepperoncini, great combo. Two of us had the Irish Breakfast and they loved it. My son had the French toast and a Banger on theside. The bartender made him a pint of chocolate milk and he loved it. We went pretty early on a Tuesday morning so it waspretty dead. Good decor and atmosphere with a good amount of seating for a pub and now they have seating in the parklet. Read more
I had a veggie boxty which was served as frozen vegetables in a tortilla with cheese on top. Horrible! And nothing like a... traditional boxty which they claim is their specialty, claiming to be an authentic Irish pub. My husband had fettuccine whichwas so watery that he asked for an entirely new meal, equally bad but at least one could say that Italian food isn?t theirspecialty. We have been dining here since it opened. We went out to pick up a bottle of wine nearby and decided to eat dinner here. The... service has always been spotty but has gotten much worse recently. On our previous visit the waiter/bartender told us to sitanywhere and then ignored us. This time we did manage to eventually to catch the waitress/bartender's eye and got seated. Mywife ordered a glass of wine. While waiting for the check my wife poured herself a small amount of wine from our bottle toenjoy while waiting for the check. We would not have ordered a second glass in any case. When the waitress brought thetake-home box we requested, she saw my wife's 1/4 glass of wine and she went off. "I THINK IT'S INCREDIBLY RUDE TO POUR YOUROWN WINE IN A RESTAURANT!" she yelled at my wife. My wife apologized and the waitress then repeated her accusation! My wifeapologized a second time and as she was walking away she responded to my wife's sincere "I'm sorry" with "NO YOU'RENOT". Honestly, I cannot think what this woman's problem was. We didn't cost them any business as my wife had already turneddown the offer of a second glass. Calling my wife a liar really was way too much. KC's has been our spot for the past 5 years, typically a Wednesday date night for us. January 2019 the KC Restaurant was sold to... a new ownership. We are told that nothing will change including employees, food or drinks so we're hoping for the same greatservice, delicious gourmet food and awesome bar. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. Read more
