Food was great!! Delicious drinks, but our waitress had an addittude, rolled eyes and only came once to ask how we where... doing .But her helper the one bringing the food was great.She Ask if there was anything else we needed. So we took my cousins from Guadalajara, Mexico to the Los Compadres Restaurant on Pine Street in Long Beach. They were so happy... with the food & service. We had the enchiladas verdes , carne asada combination, and mole enchiladas. Very delicious. Thecantaritos & agua de Jamaica were delicious as well. Seating was pretty quick and the hostess was very courteous. Plates are minimum 20 bucks and parking is hard to find but the... food is well worth it. The food quality is really good and loved the chips with salsa. Chips felt freshly made, you get refillon soda and can ask for more chips and salsa which was just a bonus. The ambiance is pretty cool, plenty of tv's to watch thesports channels and their selections on drinks are pretty good. Overall, it was so worth coming. Read more
Delicious, authentic, beautiful. My favorite two dishes are “ Enchiladas de la casa “ home style enchiladas. You can get... chicken or steak , I usually always you steak. I have had the chicken and it’s spectacular, always falls off the bone. I lovethe sweet potatoes on the side and always ask the Chile de arbol salsa (mexican chili oil). The enchiladas themselves are notyour classic enchilada, they have cotija cheese……aaaamazing !! The second dish I always get is the “ botana mixta “it’s ceviche, you get fish ceviche, shrimp ceviche, and octopus ceviche. Perfect every time. Read more
