Delicious food and great atmosphere. And it is a family restaurant with friendly service. It's far, but I want to go again.

It was just okay for me. I had the brisket and pulled pork and both were just okay. The brisket was a bit tough and over cooked.... The sides were really good. I had the corn pudding and bbq beans and finished both of those. I didn?t even take the brisket orpulled pork home. Read more

Pretty big place with indoor, patio, bar, and outdoor seating. There's always plenty of parking at Long Beach Town Center. This... location will get packed at popular times. Read more

My mom had been trying to get us here for a few years so we went today. The place was pretty nice, staff seemed very busy but no... one acknowledges you when you walk through and the young girl checking is in was pretty cold and dry. We ordered 2 meat combodinners and a adult beverage. The drinks were very good. The onion strings were pretty good other than very salty on thetop. Our combos came in but the baby back ribs were very dry and a bit chewy. Mom was very disappointed because she saysnormally you can early tear the ribs apart effortlessly but she was struggling separating the ribs with her knife. They broughther another 1/2 rack and the same was true, dry and hard to separate so she finally settled for chicken. My ribs were also dry,the ribs were not easy to separate either. My wife ordered the can chicken they were not flavorful mostly forgettable. Thisexperience was very disappointing, a $120 meal should be a decent experience but I would say most fast food chicken places wouldbe similar and over cooked/smoked ribs make them ordinary and forgettable at best. I do not recommend this place for greatfood. If you want and mediocre large meal then order up. I honestly felt I wasted $120 this is NOT ANY VALUE FOR YOUR MEAL. Iwish management took more pride in their food and service. Read more

I had the brisket. What meat there was was very good, but my 7oz portion was half fat. I ordered premium sides: hatch chili... grits and crunchy green beans. The grits were lukewarm at best ( the cast iron cup was cold on arrival. The green beans cameafter I finished the rest. The peach tea was only reminiscent of peach. The server never stopped long enough for me to ask forhelp. Read more

Update- ok its a one star now.. part of the salad is rotten.. never coming here again. Yeah, if you like salads, don't come... here. They pretty much split a romaine in half and put some seasoning on our to go order, and forgot to give us any dressing.Gave it a 3 star because my order was tasty. It was the bbq trip tip. But ya, stay away from the salads. Your date will hateyou. Read more

Went with my family for my son 21st Birthday dinner. It was cool, we ate on the patio. It was nice because the night weather... was good, felt great to be outside & get some fresh air @ night. We didn't mind at all. Our food was good, my son & oldestniece on sis side both gave their food a 6.5. Although they enjoyed it, my food was good, I had the fish & shrimp with fries &coleslaw. I would have liked for the pieces of fish to have been bigger. I really like the dipping sauces I had. The biscuitswere awesome, & that apple butter is yummie. I'd give my food a 7. The experience of atmosphere was 9, our seating was 9. Allin all, myself & family had a great time. Read more
