Great friendly service, cook came to the table to ask if I enjoyed the meal. We're from Mississippi, and were totally... disappointed with the food. I ordered the fried chicken plate with mac n' cheese and greens. I felt the chicken was undercooked,still red when taking a bite. No flavor, needed more seasoning. I'll give them another try. Soooooo good!! I had the fried shrimp po-boy and the fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes, collard greens and fries. Then... washed it down with a big sweet tea. It was delicious and authentically southern. Thank you Ms. Lavon, see you again soon! Read more
UMMM...I really want to see her win????. But she has to step her game up. I had to tell her to please fix my food. She said... someone else came in before me. Food was good and made from scratch. The owner is very friendly and portions are good (more than enough for a man). Coffee was... also good (plain no fancy mocha’s etc.). Very much worth any effort to get to. Read more
Walked in Owner / cook was talking to 2 customers. Waved to me, stayed talking to them for about for over 5 mins, then did... something else then finally came and took my order. The food was good, the bill way adjusted to $1 more than on the specialsflyer. I would be surprised she stays open past this year. She needs a prep cook, she needs to focus on getting the food out tothe customer and be more consistant with the menu. Sometime you come znd you get toadt with your meal and you can order the samething and not get everything that goes with it. Read more
