Pizza is 5 stars, but customer service was lacking! Naomi prepared our pizzas. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but she... was not polite at all. She threw a bottle of pesto into a bin and stormed off into the back after my boyfriend asked for extrapesto. He even apologized to her for asking for extra because it was obviously an inconvenience to her! When she charged us, shebarely even spoke. Pieology Pizzeria offers a customizable pizza at a reasonable price in comparison to Vegan pies in the Long Beach area I've come... across so far though the price is probably not best for non-Vegan options. Gluten free bread is the only base bread Veganoption. The ingredients are decent apart though the full slice tastes best, to me, though I definitely feel like a Vegan basebread option with more seasoning can make the meal more flavorful. Yummy and Fresh Pizza!! This is our goto spot when we crave for pizza. We can choose all the items for the pizza and comes out... fresh from the fire oven. The best way to enjoy is eating it right there. Also reasonably priced. What a blessing!! And I wantto mention the people working there. Hard working and trying to accommodate all our requests, give me mushrooms, spinach, this,that. They are patient and serving us with a smile inside. We are grateful for such a great staff and service. Despite the rushhour on a Friday evening (02/04/22), we got our pizza without delays. Staffs who worked there should be well recognized. Read more
Absolutely disgusting! It's like rock, as if they made it yesterday. And they can't even give me the correct dressing, I asked... for ranch for my salad so I couldn't even eat that. I have been coming to this place since they opened. Unfortunately, it seems that once they got foot traffic they don't care much... about their customers. On 9/10/2018, I went to get a pizza and I clearly told the employee that I wanted the pizza welldone. Like usual the employee did not care and my pizza was hardly warm and the toppings on some slices were cold. I took mostof the pizza home so I can reheat it properly. Not only that, I also had to clean my table before eating because it was notcleaned at all. This location used to be better, but, unfortunately customer service keeps declining. I don't know why at thislocation some employees want to do things their way disregarding the customer's request. This is not the first time that I get ahardly warm pizza with cold toppings. The last time that this happened I went with my friend. She got her pizza, but I didn'tget mine. I waited and waited until I asked the employee for my pizza. Then she gave me a pizza that she was keeping behind thecounter. She said that it was kept in an oven, she gave it to me in a to go box. My pizza was not to go and it was hardlywarm. We told the manager about it, then he went to talk to her and we clearly overheard that she told him that she called myname and looked for me, but that she didn't see me and that is why it took so long to get my pizza. What she said to the managerwas a lie. Pielogy is a small place. We could have easily heard her or saw her if that was the case. Plus both pizzas were onthe same ticket. I took my pizza home once again so I could reheat it and finally eat a hot pizza. I always ordered a pizza todine in, but unfortunately, lately it hasn't been a pleasant experience at all. Being able to get a custom pizza with unlimited toppings for such a cheap price is just fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and... calm, and the dining area is also very clean. Employees weren't stingey with the ingredients like some places and gave agenerous amount. The pizza was fantastic, and couldn't have asked for more. Read more
This place offers custom made pizzas for a reasonable price of $8.45 (a dollar more if you prefer thick crust). Their crust... reminded me of Pizza Hutt?s but without being salty. Read more
