Pretty good sushi, would come back again. The yellow tail nigiri is good but the fatty yellow tail is even better. One thing... that I didn't like about it is that they put a small dab of garlic paste on top it it which ruined the taste for me. I had tokeep taking that off. The same thing happened for the salmon sushi except they put one piece of caper on it, had to remove thatas well. But the fish was fresh and the price is about average for nigiri around $7 for 2 piece nigiri depending on what youget. They also take your phone number for discount for your next visit. Read more
Wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were patient and attentive. It was nice not feeling rushed to order. The... sushi was fresh and excellent. The tempura abundant and varied. So I brought my family here on mother's day. What a great experience. The food was top notch but the service was absolutely... perfect. John was our server and he was so intent to make sure everything went correct for my wife's big day. I am a hugestickler for excellent customer service so of coarse the tip and gratitude was great. I always research my restaurants before Ichose to visit since we don't go out that much. I strongly advise everyone to try this sushi spot in long beach and try yourbest to get John as your server. We have been looking for a good sushi restaurant and we finally found it! ???? We ordered the Sashimi B which came with three... pieces of seven different varieties of sashimi so it?s 21 big pieces of sashimi and every piece tasted fresh. We also orderedTruffle Toro roll and that didn?t disappoint us. The rice was just enough to make us full and glad we didn?t order more. Thisreview would have been a five star if not for the hot tea that cost $3.50 per person, a little steep for a cup of tea. We ordered takeout here a lot during covid and they did an A+ job at not making it feel like we ordered takeout sushi. From the... high quality disposable wooden chopsticks to all the condiments they included, they made you feel like you were getting yourmoney's worth. And if I remember correctly, they honored the buy one get one half off deal for takeout orders. The takeoutfood is still great, but the deal is only for dine in now. Read more
