Quick amazing service for morning grub when you really need to eat and don?t want to wait on the abusive line at a ridiculously... unorganized place like Ferraras. Kids are friendly and food is good but the service is way too slow. Even if you call ahead for pickup, they still make you wait... on line. Unfortunately they cannot multitask either, take one order at a time, can't count change, etc...this place would notlast in any city but works for LBI. Update this year. Am taking another star away. Besides the fact that i come in almost 3x aweek because I I pass by that often and want coffee, they still treat me as a complete stranger and make no effort to be niceand engage a fairly regular customer for over 6 years. But what really maddens me is the quality this year really fell off. Foodis usually overly greasy and sloppy. Just thrown together without any pride in the product. Also prices have gone through theroof. I mean I get the inflation part but 14$ for a chicken wrap? The one bright spot this year is that there is a new guythere, a little older than the kids with a beard. He has personality and hopefully takes over. I ordered 3 bagles 2 with cream cheese and one with butter one cup of coffee and 2 kids drinks price was almost $20
My wife gets her favorite iced coffee from here, the bagel selection is huge and exciting especially if you haven't had many... different bagels in your life. Each different flavor makes you want to come back and try it. Im gonna give the Lox a trysometime this summer. The kids meal with balogna sandwich is my kiddos favorite sandwich. it's not that cheap stuff from oscarMeyer either. the kids meal comes with chips and cookies and is more than a meal for my 4 year old. What I miss about moving to the Midwest is shops like this. The people, the products, just perfect. Good bagels and options for... sandwiches. Friendly people greeting you on entry. NJ at its best. One item to share, at least with my experience today, isthey are a cash only shop. Heads up. Read more
This is a 1 minute walk when staying at the Sea Horse Motel. Great staff, good bagels and they actually restock the creamers... regularly. Read more
