Always come here for good service and good food! Whether you want the food prepared or taking it back home to cook, the quality... is always consistent. Everyone there is always kind and patient so if you have never bought seafood and need assistance with howmuch to buy.. this is the go to place. We arrived at just after 6pm on a Wednesday evening and placed our order for 4 people. We were told the wait would be 45-50... minutes. This proved to be accurate. We were glad we brought a deck of cards and played while we waited. When we received ourfood (fried shrimp, fried clam strips, fries and fish and chips)it was cold and our cocktail sauce had ice crystals on it. Howcan this be when we were right there? Excellent if very high priced food in a quiet neighborhood setting, with a variety of styles and flavors. They do the standards... like fried fish perfectly, and dishes like their spicy Pinky shrimp make them stand out from the crowd. But you'll pay more thana nice sit down restaurant because they don't list prices on the menu. Read more
My family has been visiting LBI for one week every summer for 23 years. The first year, we discovered Pinky's, and explored... other restaurants. By the 3rd year, we were getting (take-out) from Pinky's ALL 7 nights, and have done so for 20 years now. Thefood is AMAZING!! The menu is very diverse - there is something for everyone, even picky kids. Between us, we have hadeverything on the menu, and have NEVER had a bad meal. Tried a little bit of everything and all I can say is.... magical. Perfectly seasoned and prepared seafood and sauces married in... heaven. Everything was cooked right, fried and crispy delicious. The wait was a little long, but that's a good thing - they havealot of staff and are super busy with orders. The best seafood place! We stop by whenever we are visiting LBI. Oysters, crabcakes, and clam chowder is a must!
We just ordered family-size fried fish. They didn't put the price on the menu so we were shocked when we found the 2 take-out... containers of seafood were close to $200. Even if we consider the fact we are at the beach for summer vacation, it's heavilyoverpriced, and not putting the price upfront is mere dishonesty and we felt ripped off. Though the crabcake was the best onewe ever had, it wasn't good enough to make up for it. Read more
