Went to pick up food, it was ready on time and hot. Decided to check the order bc my gf can't have bread. Ordered burger no bun... but to my chagrin upon checking saw a bun on the burger. Needless to say i was annoyed (lack of patience has followed me aroundmy entire life). I pointed this out to the staff and they went and prepared a new burger. Still annoyed at the additional waittime, I sat and pouted. As 5 min grew to 10 and then 15 I started pacing and walked towards a display of cans which had a fewbeers. Sensing my disappointment the boss said "hey I'm sorry for the wait, can I get you one". Immediately I was overcome withgratitude and accepted. Long story short, management cared about an inpatient guy and made everything better. Hats off to GreekCove. I'll be back. Read more
I?m really not one to write a negative review, I would just not go back. However I wasn?t a fan the first time my wife brought... the food home. The second time got food poisoning after eating a lamb gyro. Vomiting and on toilet for hours. Couldn?t walkright for a week. Beware!!! Read more
Carley was very friendly and fast when taking my order. We got the falafel platter and chicken tenders platter for the kids. The... food was fresh and tasty! The portions were huge. The service was extremely fast. You can tell the food was amazing as they hada lot of take out orders as well. The salad was flavorful and so was the spicy roasted red pepper feta dip. My son suggested we go here. I am all about supporting local business. We decided to dine in. We placed our order at the... counter. Our food was delivered in take out form. If you have in door seating and have chosen to eat at the establishment giveme a real plate with silverware The napkins were worse than newspaper. They seem to have a great take out clientele. So happyfor them. We ordered the gyro sandwich. An over abundance of meat. They did not put lettuce. Not enough tomatoes or onions. Iknow you are probably thinking the more meat the better but no! The reason I chose the gyro is because I like an equal part ofveg with my meat. I wish them all the best. BUT I will take the drive to Gyro Palace located in Freeport. The food here is great. Portions are huge. I ordered the gyro platter with lemon potatoes and my wife got the chicken gyro... platter. We had enough for two days and the leftovers are even better the next day. Yes there are other Greek places in the areabut this is definitely a place you should try out.
