We had dinner reservations for 530pm Friday. We really didn't want a crowd. Arrived on time and noticed there was live music... setting up. I asked when the music started and was told 8. Bartender was very nice...however....sent back my Mahi because it was so dry and bland. Also, do not order the lobster Mac and... cheese. Really great space here. The food is excellent and served very quickly. The staff are all incredibly attentive and... accommodating; if you have a specific order/request, it will be honoured. The drinks are generous and fairly priced. Thelocation is so convenient, literally across the street from the Long Beach LIRR station. And when the weather is pleasant likeit is now in late spring, the open front doors make every dinner, brunch and trivia night into a beachy respite. I very muchlook forward to my next visit. Came in on a Friday with my boyfriend for a drink and to listen to the live music. They have live music every night. We had wine... and a dozen oysters. The staff was friendly, the band was great, the wine and oysters were delicious. We had a great time! Read more
Great space, attentive service. The Fried oysters are excellent. The Seafood chowder was good, a little salty and if you're... thinking chowder thick, it isn't. It's a broth. We also ordered the blackened shrimp flatbread. Its a great nibbler with acocktail. The menus seemed a little tacky, probably from the doors open and foggy weather because everything else was clean. Went for a few beers on a Sunday, they didnt charge my card until Tuesday and they charged my card twice..two different amounts.... Called Tuesday night after I received alert from my bank, guy takes my name and puts me on hold for 35mins... I called back andnow seems I am blocked....awful ..crooks... Read more
