We had an amazing breakfast for 4. We did a reservation the evening before for 10am Sunday. The ONLY thing to be aware of is... their limited pdf menu is the accurate one. The menu on Google is pre pandemic. With that said, if you don't typically havefancier dishes. Just go for something new! We all had to try one another's food. The atmosphere and ocean view made it evenbetter. To top it all off- they pay their employees livable wages as noted on their menus yet prices were fair, they strive forinclusiveness, they purchase fresh local products(even their salt and pepper was local) and support their community withcocktails for a cause! This place does not deserve 3.9 stars! It’s the only upscale spot on Long Beach. OK so the pandemic has caused some staffing... and service issues. The weather this summer hasn’t helped either. We stayed at The Inn at Discovery Coast for a quickovernight and really enjoyed the view and food. The staff was very friendly and concerned about wait times. They were out of afew things, but who cares? What is the alternative? Nobody in town can match this! 5 stars! Read more
We got a nice spot to sit out to look out on to the beach. I think they were under staffed and busy. My fiancé ordered a beer... right from the moment she came with the menus. After she returned to take our food order, she mentioned the drink would be hereshortly. I ordered a drink the Valhalla ???? and I got mine before his. I had to ask at that point where his was and after itwas brought the glass was sweating so it was clear it was just left out. They weren’t making any of the pizzas so that was????. The mac and cheese looked great but was flavorless. I don’t even know how that’s possible. The Burrata was excellent.We had to ask for the check 2 times. VEGAN HIDDEN GEM We decided to go here not expecting much and oh my gosh I can’t believe this place! The Umami in all the... flavors of EVERY dish were amazing. You can tell a culinary genius has hand crafted these complex dishes. The shiitakesmushrooms and cauliflower pizza were to die for! Will absolutely be back. Also bonus they pay all staff a living wage and alsovery inclusive, gender neutral bathroom, pride flag! Read more
Amazing food!!! Very good prices on the breakfast for the quality of food! I highly recommend the quiche, which was excellent.... The apple cinnamon bread was just delicious as well. The view from our table was breathtaking. Very nice atmosphere where wefelt warm and welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting long beach!!! Read more
