On 2-5-22, the line was literally out the door, I noticed several people leave and that was a good choice for them. The only... employee on staff was tossing sandwiches together with little care, I had several unwanted vegetables on my sandwich that Ididn't ask for. So poorly stocked they had a list posted of items that weren't available. I have known this subway to have fruitfly's and to have very sloppy sandwich making employees, but decided to drop in on this crisis thinking maybe it wouldn't bethat bad. I was wrong. McDonald's is a couple blocks away and if you really must have subway, do yourself a favor and go toAstoria. Don't support this lazy shop, make it clear they need to step it up for their customers. Very incompetent and unjust service. Walked in without a mask because only one of my two friends had one and got told we can not... order without one which was expected hence the one person who had one. We planned for her to order for us anyways but whatdidn't make sense was she was helping another gentleman that didn't have a mask without question. Later finding out they helpedhim because he was some exception because they knew him??? Really unprofessional in terms of communication and service but ifyou are willing to put up with that, the quality of the sandwich building was up to standard compared to other chains. Read more
They had quite a long line. The employees were doing a good job of keeping the line moving, but they were not rushed. There were... 3 people working. They each had a job, one on the register, one starting the sandwiches & one adding veggies & wrapping them. IOnly go for the veggie patty sandwich & am not fond of the new patty. It is full of peas and carrots & is super mushy, evenright after being heated. Honestly if they don't switch back I will no longer be going for sandwiches. As a long time customerI'm bummed! As I alluded to in my review of their Covid precautions, the folks there carry an air of dispassion and a lack of care in their... service. Orders made online are clear and concise and translate through to their receipt printer perfectly. This fact, coupledwith the appearance that they are not terribly busy (at least when I last ordered from there) makes it inexcusable that my wifewas missing entire ingredients she requested, my nephew had unspecified ingredients on his and was missing those desired, and mysandwich (the incredibly simple affair pictured) lacked the extra cheese that I paid for. It is an insult to have my family'spatronage of this establishment treated with such callousness and they've lost our business for the foreseeable future. Read more
Clean indoor seating with social distancing enforced...wear a mask! Spicy Italian sandwich was good.
Guy seemed nice enough. Place was empty when I arrived. Chicken looked a little slimy but cooked up fine. Veggies looked good... though. Dining room was clean from what I saw, I took my food home. I also used the men's room and it was pretty clean, didn'tsmell. Read more
