Went here upon a recommendation and sorry we did. The chips with hummus was something different and was good. Had the onion soup... and a chopped half salad (not pictured) which were ok, however the soup had an odd taste, almost curry like (I don’trecommend). Ordered the halibut, pan seared, and arrived lukewarm as were the mashed Gouda cauliflower along with cool crispyBrussels sprouts. The fish was mostly moist (thick side) but as it came to the thinner part of the fish it was dry. The disharrived without the sweet chili sauce (reminded me of a store brand sauce) and had to ask for it. The short rib pappardelle wasabsolutely cold when it arrived. Took a few minutes to get the server’s attention and the kitchen remade the dish. When the“newly” prepared dish arrived it was overwhelmingly salty. The server asked if we wanted to speak to a manager but figuredit would be a waste of time. I took the dish home, added some more pappardelle and added some stock which we enjoyed (yes I cancook too). There wasn’t any reason for these missteps as there were only about 5 tables seated and was absolutely a slow timesince it was about 4pm on a Saturday. The place looks great and has a great view of the ocean from every table. The placelooked so promising, with the view, the atmosphere and a classy aura we thought it would be a pleasant experience. However, withthe prices of the dishes, the poor quality and poor execution, we cannot recommend this restaurant at all. We will not be back,so very disappointing. Read more

The place has the view and quite busy. The food was okay, however I would suggest to skip on their fried fish. Also, I don't... really get why Blue point oysters are $3.5 a piece in this place. On the other hand their bloody Mary are quite generous andcomes with a shrimp. Read more

Significant decline in food quality, but the same time significant increase in price. The angry lobster was $62 in 2021, and... cooked to perfection; the angry lobster now is $70 in 2022, and it's not even angry (spicy), just lobster with garlic overpasta. Calamari, oysters, mojitos, and other common dishes become even worse than your local non-seafood restaurants. Thepercentage of the price hike is exactly the percentage of the quality decline. It's very disappointing that this used to be anamazing restaurant with equally amazing view, but now only the view is worth the stars in review. (Pictures are taken from 2021and 2022, same dishes, for comparison.) Read more

Went on a Thursday night with a reservation and we were promptly seated. We’re staying down the street at the Ocean Place... resort so we were able to just walk down, but it does look like they have ample parking. The ambience inside the restaurant isreally nice and the patio has great views as well. The patio is also closed and so you don’t have to worry about the weather, but they also have an outdoor patio area too. Service was good and the food came out super quick. We started out with the tunabruschetta and lobster bisque. My wife had the stuffed mahi-mahi and I had the skirt steak. Everything was cooked very well andas ordered, and of course it was delicious. We had a hard time deciding what to eat and may go back to try additional items. Read more

Been too Rooney before and the first time was better then the Second time the food we ordered was tasted great but served cold..... we did tell the waitress and they did buy a drinks but still does not take away from serving cold food.. It’s like they makethe food in big batches and just serve it out of food warmers… I would give it another try because the food is really good butjust hope it’s hot and fresh next time.. worth giving it a try for your self..
