Given that this is a Michelin star restaurant, I had high hopes for the food. The food is very mediocre. The “spicy”... guacamole had zero spiciness to it. The steak was okay at best. The veggie enchilada was probably the best thing I got. Theservice is okay as well. Definitely not what I expected. Read more

Casa Enrique never disappoints with their authentic Mexican cuisine. Relaxed laid back atmosphere with delicious cocktails... (highly recommend getting a spicy margarita), appetizers (get the ceviche!), and main dishes (I had the roasted pork ribs). TheMole comes highly recommended as well and is very popular, but it’s a little too sweet for my taste. Finished everything offwith a chocolate custard dessert with whipped cream and crushed cookies which was incredible. They recently maintained their1-Star Michelin rating for 2022-2023, which is well deserved. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in themood for authentic Mexican cuisine. Just don’t forget to get the ceviche! Read more

We got the salad and pork ribs and crab appetizer. The salad was unique and very good with the candied pumpkin seeds and the... ribs were large enough for me and my partner to each have a piece. Not pictured was the seasonal passion fruit drink which wasvery good as well Read more

The staff was very welcoming! This restaurant has outdoor seating (Seat at your own risk during summer times for it’s the... mosquitoes that rule the outdoors lol) Every cocktail was on point. We ordered spicy guacamole (which was not too spicy) Theverde enchiladas were phenomenal! I will be back for you guys! Read more

At first glance, the restaurant is fairly nondescript. You wouldn’t think “Michelin” when you walk by. Inside though, the... place was alive and rocking for a Saturday afternoon. They have a fair amount of vegetarian options, which is always helpful. Myfavorite dish was the Rajas Con Crema appetizer, but the vegan tacos were also excellent and much better than expected. Overall,a very good meal and a place that I’d be happy to return to. Read more

Amazing food! Great service. All the food we had came out quick and was delicious. Gotta start with the guac, INSANE! It comes... with the best warm tortilla chips. The mole chicken blew my mind with the flavors. The salsa Verde chicken enchiladas was great. The drink options are top notch, try the coco margarita or sour sop. The flan was silky smooth and the syrup sauce was fresh notburnt. Over all a 5 star dinner date. We were both impressed with this location. Parking is ruff in the area but I got lucky, there is a train stop a block away which makes the trip alot easier. Went on a Wednesday but the place was paced, the waitwasn't long and they were very attentive to us. Highly recommend. Read more

A short ferry from Manhattan and you're there. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Everything is carefully made and the... atmosphere there is pleasant. They do not make reservations, just waiting on the spot so you should arrive at 12pm or 19pm tofind a table. Look at the pictures and do not miss this dessert! Read more

What can I say about this restaurant that does it justice? First, this is very likely the most authentic Mexican place in NY... and if you want to try the real local cuisine, this is a-must-try. Second, the menu offers and extraordinary selection ofclassic main dishes that you could find in every Mexican home and that is just magic, because that is an extraordinary piece ofmy beloved country. And third, the staff is absolutely kind and warm, open to give you any advise about food or help with someadditional order. I adored the food, the place and the entire experience. Please come to Casa Enrique and enjoy the authenticMexican food! Finally, I have only one suggestion for the chef to make this place 110% real... in Mexico we need (typically)white bread (like sliced-bolillos) on the table with our breakfast as a must-have side. You see it if you visit any restaurantover there, they will give you a bread basket and maybe some butter. So please, consider adding this table-center at least forthe eggs with mole. Read more
