LEVANTE LIC has been around for a while . I just discovered it a couple months ago. And what a find. For starters their bar is... incredible with really stellar cocktails. Then the PIZZA cooked to perfection on the spot in a oven on display. We ordered awhite pizza I think with Burrata and grilled octopus. All their pizzas ???? looked so delicious. It's a small place from the outside but inside, the modern and the rustic styles collide into an elegant display. With the... pizza oven in the back of the place, the illumination, the bar, and the smell of delicious food, it's a beautiful combination.Everything we tasted that day was great, including the sweet treats. come here for the pizza and drinks. the pizza was some of the best we've had in LIC, and the drinks were shockingly good. their... focaccia that comes with your meal is also really solid. the ambiance is great, and it's definitely a gem in LIC with how muchseating there is! the octopus was also delicious- tender and with highlighted with subtle flavors. i thought the ragu pasta wasokay (a bit too heavy), but not worth ordering considering how good everything else was. This was a tough visit! Atmosphere: very nice, for this alone I would give 4 star Service: very good and attentive Drinks: the... Aperol spritz did not taste great Food: we ordered a burrita which was good. The amatricciana and Pomodoro were really bad.Super salty and the sauce was too thick. Supper disappointed. We ordered the 3 different pizzas and chicken. The burrata and rice/cheese balls. It was good. The 4 cheese pizza was supposed... to have gorgonzola which was sparingly on the pizza. I ordered it for the gorgonzola. I was disappointed. I personally thoughtit was quite pricey for what we ordered. But willing to pay coming out of pandemic. Read more
