I've heard that this is the best pizza around so we decided to finally try it today. We got there around 5pm on a Saturday.... First impression is that it smells like a damp alley way in there. Ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza but was told there was only1 slice of cheese left so I had to order a slice of something else, I guess they can't make more than 1 cheese pizza a day? Bothslices were ok, the crust was uneven throughout. The dining room looks like it hasn't been cleaned ever and the salt, pepper, garlic powder and red pepper flake bottles felt as though they were dipped in grease. Pizza was good. The Music that was playing in restaurant was like folk boy band. Humid and sweating while you eat. Overall... environment was like eating in an alleyway listening to raccoons serenade me while sweating. But food was good. Read more

Absolutely delicious!! You can tell they really put quality and care in their pizzas. The lunch special was great 2 huge slices... and a drink for $9. Also, my boys loved watching the pizzas be made while we waited. Definitely recommend!! Read more

Perfecto! My wife and I stopped in late in the afternoon and were greeted by a friendly staff and a clean restaurant. They... informed us of the specials as we looked at the "by the slice" selection. We decided to try a few different flavors, my favoritewas the "Hoboken Heart Attack" ????. We visit Longboat key quite often and will definitely add Solorzano's to our list offavorites.
