What a fantastic place! We walked in with no reservation on a Sunday night and the gracious hostess made sure we were... Accommodated. The oysters were delicious we also had the whipped ricotta appetizer which was phenomenal. My husband had thescallops and I had the Chilean Seabass and shrimp both were pallet teasers. Our server’s name was Carlos he was excellent hesaid he was only there for a short time and this was his third day but you would never know it. Outstanding Experience. Only open since June, 2022. We had just heard about the restaurant; we called, and they were happy to... seat us when we arrived in 5 minutes. Our table was set and ready. 6 pm was a great time. Every seat is excellent. Manywindows and a great view of the Marina. At least 50% of our conversation was about the wonderful taste of our food andbeverages. We also were very impressed with our server, Anthony, and those who assisted him with bringing out our meals. Genuine polite personality...service with care, joy, and kindness. When we left, total strangers bid us a friendly farewell. Came in for my birthday with my parents. We were treated so special! Jill is one of the best servers out there. She was so... GREAT. The manager David really does a great job running the show. They both bent over backwards to make our experience extraspecial. I was so incredibly impressed by the food, service and ambiance. Do not sleep on La Barca! This is truly a diamond onthe Jersey Shore. Definitely recommend for celebrating a special occasion. Would definitely come back and enjoy the bar area.The cocktail list is really curated and not your typical cocktail list. I’ve been struggling with wine lists when dining downthe shore. They have a really impressive list of by the glass wines spanning from a variety of varietals from France and Italy.Food is exceptional! Oysters are a must! I have lived here for almost 30 years and never had the experience of dining here when it was Lambertis only because I have... eaten at other Lambertis restaurants and not really thought of them as a really high quality restaurant except for the one incherry hill. I was so pleased to see that new owners took over so I went the first chance I could and boy am I glad I did. Therestaurant has an absolutely beautiful view of the marina and we went later purposely to be there at sundown. We got a greattable by the window and our waiter Jordan greeted us promptly. The restaurant was only open 5 days so he told us a bit about theorigin of the restaurant and gave my wife suggestions on one of the many original cocktails which she absolutely loved called aLa Barca sour. When he returned with cocktails he explained the menu to us and answered all of our questions and we ordered. Westarted with a dozen umami oysters they were delicious and come with your choice of 5 sauces. We followed that with clams casinoand the shrimp pancetta both were outstanding and a nice size portion. Following that we had Caesar salad and Filet carpaccio.The salad to my amazement had homemade dressing that was almost as great as when I make it at home it just needed a littlespritz of Lemmon juice which I added and the dressing that came on the arugula from the carpaccio was so creamy and cheesy thatit made the dish perfect !! Then for entrees my wife ordered the Chilean sea bass lobster and I had the bucatini carbonara. Thepasta was cooked perfectly and nice and creamy (I could only finish half by this point) and the sea bass was delicious however(and probably the only negative thing all night) did not contain any lobster only a lobster cream sauce which sounds a bitmisleading However it does say in the description lobster sherry cream sauce so our mistake not there’s but it was filled withshrimp and sun dried tomatoes and absolutely delicious.. believe it or not we ordered 2 deserts the c Read more
Beautiful place for afternoon lunch!! A hidden gem and **DOG FRIENDLY** outside patio area! Amazing view, breezy, no bugs or... seagulls to bother you, and right down the road from Dog Beach. The food was good and prices were normal for the area. I'll becoming back! Read more
