We love Fisherman's Market! The cost of everything pretty much works out evenly, unless you like to drink alcohol to the... extreme. We order a combo bucket of fried shrimp (6-8) &. fried oysters (10 -15). The bucket also includes french fries, hushpuppies (3 kinds) and delicious Cole slaw. The negative is the parking lot. PLEASE FILL THE HOLES?? Read more

First time to stay in Longview, so we had to try it here. The staff was warm and friendly but the food was just ok. We both got... the $18 fisherman's platter. The batter lacked flavor, but the stuffed shrimp and crab cake were pretty good. Wished I hadsomething grilled or the crawfish etouffee, which night have been better. Blooming onion was not fully cooked in the center butthe rest of it tasted ok, though a little too oily for me. I was impressed with the variety of TYPES of seafood (crawfish, fish, shrimp, oysters, clams, crab, frogs legs and more... even the elusive soft shell crab for $24). I don't know if it's ratedhighly because it's the best in the area, or the great staff, or since the locals clearly love it... But as an unbiasedfoodie-esque couple just passing through, I was actually disappointed. For what WE got, we both felt the prices and rating wereboth just a little too high for the quality of the food. (See photo for what almost $50 in food gets ya.) I did notice a fairlyextensive a la carte section. Seems like a good way to pull together a perhaps better meal for less dough. A little about thevibe: it's extremely casual, comfortable, and perfect for families. Tee shirts and flip flops are welcome here, it's verycasual. I probably wouldn't suggest it for an out-of-town date night, as there's really no space for romantic momentsthere. Again, all of this is based on a non-local opinion. We LOOOOVE trying out the favorite local joints as we travel allfover Texas. The Fisherman's Market in Longview, Texas is a nice little place to eat with ok fried food. Go for the staff, variety of seafood options, and the family friendliness. Read more

Fisherman's market is all out there. We were in the car but the smell and aroma was so inviting we could resist no more. Ahhh... going inside and experiencing the complex dinner with full service and delicious taste is so much more than sitting in your car.Go in and experiment with all they offer. I give them a 10. I love this place! The catfish fillets are BIG! I love the hush puppies, however, normally they are regular size, but that day... in particular, they were about the size of a #2 pencil. Other than that, my husband and I enjoyed our meal. We will be diningagain. Read more

It has been awhile since I last visited here. They had made some changes that I felt were positive! The large menu board was no... longer posted up on the wall, and now you order at your table. The fish and other seafood items were fresh and tasty, and yesprices have increased, but they have increased everywhere for sure. They still have that old "New Orleans" atmosphere to therestaurant, I lime that. Service was very good, and my drink never ran dry! I will not wait long to visit again!! Read more

Not sure what happened ????. This was horrible tonight. The whole catfish was overcooked and old. The coleslaw was warm and... terrible. The shrimp was rubbery and overcooked. Food came out cold. I was actually sick on the way home. We only live 30minutes away. So disappointing ????. Im definitely not feeling well after eating here. Read more
