Years ago they had some of the best donuts. I can't say that anymore.
This donut stop is very convenient at its current location. I?ve never had a hard time choosing to stop in before heading to... work because I was worried I?d be late. The only complaint I have is that the food is always cold and the shelf spaces arepretty old and a bit of sad sight. Minimal satisfaction food for sure. Although, the workers are always sweet. It's Shipley's... I thought it could be somewhat more modern, donuts and kolaches were cold, but tasted good. Have to stand in... line to order at one counter, then stand in regular store line to check out. Love Shipleys, think I would find a different storeif not to far out of the way. Read more
Went on a Tuesday. Glazed donuts were cold and seemed soggy, seemed like leftovers. Jelly donuts were cold but seemed fresh.... Sausage pepper jack Kolache was fresh and delicious so 3 stars for it alone. If the glazed donuts had been made same day I'msure they would have been good. Also this location is inside a gas station, probably wouldn't have gone to this location if Iknew before hand. Read more
Went at 10 on a Saturday morning. They were already out of the most popular items. But what we had was delish! Lady at the... counter was very apologetic that they were out of sprinkled donuts for my little ones. She recommended the chocolate donut holesfor them (chocolate yeast! Which I?ve never had) Just traveling through Longview, so don?t know how Shipley compares to theirlocal donut shops, but we enjoyed our ?vacation breakfast? treat! *cinnamon sugar donut was yummmmm! The name Shipleys made me visit & buy from this food chain here in Texas! Shipleys in Greenville MS is so greattttt donuts are... so fresh & melt in your mouth when they are first cooked but this Shipleys here in Texas are good but they were not hot @ 5:40am.
