I work in Longview from time to time and been wanting to try The Catch, today I ate lunch there and it was very impressed. With... it being lunch time they were very busy and had a long line for the drive-thru so I dined inside. Chose the catfish and shrimpcombo. The shrimp were large and tasty the catfish fillets were slightly small but they were very tasty and we're battered to anice seasoned crispy taste. French fries were awesome. The staff was Superior they were great with greetings and service. Itseems to be a local favorite so visitors don't overlook the little blue building go inside and have some great fish and shrimp. The food was absolutely delicious!!! The service was a little slow but only because it was in high demand to eat there at the... time but it was well worth the wait. First I should say we eat here a lot and love this place. And we love it! The service is always great. But today, the manager... who is always so nice and fun was not there. We walked in and the girl working the drive through was on her phone, I literallystood in front of her just on the other side of the counter and she did not look up, ever, for about a good minute maybe more.Then another person finally came from the dining area and took our order. The hush puppies were cold, the fries were not welldone as requested, and we ordered 5 catfish and the fifth one was about a quarter the size of the other 4. We will be back, butif there is no manager we won't stay. And they were out of queso. Read more
Payed $14 for shrimp and grits just to get rice instead one spoon of rice to be exact horrible never going back
The catch serves well seasoned, perfectly cooked fish, gulf shtimp, and other delicious offerings. I had the grilled shrimp... tacos, and will definitely order them again! Read more
The fish fillets were meaty and perfectly cooked as were the shrimp. We received good portions for a reasonable price. The place... was clean considering how busy it was. Service was outstanding. They truly cared about their food and your dining experience. Read more
Ordered to go. Their app allows you to choose a time for pickup. That's great except they definitely made my food when the order... was placed so it was good and soggy/cold. Also shorted me a jumbo shrimp. Absolutely unacceptable. Read more
