Food used to be great, service used to be good. The desserts used to be the best in town. Real love and heart put into them. Now... its just another yuppyish cafe with new trends on old classics. I don\'t know who needs to be told but some things dont needchange. The woman who used to make the desserts was a class act. It is a shame that such an iconic home town eatery has turnedto this. THE BEST HOMEMADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP EVER EVERY MONDAY! I go as many mondays as i can. All of the staff are so welcoming and... personable (might be biased:)) Great food and very big building with a lot of seating. Such great soups and desserts!! The cobbler was awesome because of the crunchy and soft textures and the corn bread was top... notch!! I plan on going back to try more! The Chicken Pesto sandwich was amazing and was even great later that day because Itook half to-go. I love how the servers work together and everyone gets taken care of and seems satisfied. Had a great bowl of soup on a chili day. Loved our waitress and the restaurant is a great eye mezmerizer.
