Came here with my girlfriend when we were driving through town. The food was incredible. I got the wings with raspberry habanero... sauce. These wings were probably the best I?ve ever had. The breading was incredible, the sauce was very good (seriously, trythat sauce. So good). The wings were as big as I hoped they were (they advertised their wings as being the ?biggest and best intown? and they certainly lived up to that description). Their drink menu was also great. They have a huge board with everythingthey have on draft that details the type of beer, the abv, and the brewery. If you haven?t been here, you?re doing yourself aterrible disservice. I am not a bar guy. I don't frequent them and I don't drink. However, I am a food guy. Someone told me to give this place a try... for their food and I haven't been disappointed yet. Their bacon is pretty amazing, nice and thick. The hand made corn beef hashis great as well. Their burgers have a wonderfully soft bun and I do enjoy the house cut fries, though the crinkle cuts lookedgood too. Staff has been super friendly and very timely, I can come in on lunch and be out with lots of time to get coffeebefore going back to work. Good food, good people. That's just right in my book. Decent burger, great cider. A little pricey but wasn't to bad overall. Server was very friendly and did well.
I usually come in for lunch but today I came in for breakfast it was burnt and my omelette covered my crispy hashbrowns that... were no longer crispy and the bartender was rude told me I had to wait for my pulltabs I said OK she served everybody like shewas supposed to and serve them again I was still waiting she gave me attitude and rolled her eyes she was very attentive to theman at the end of the bar though but the cook was very nice I will not return Read more
We were here for a surprise birthday party and had a great time. Fast, friendly service, and great food. We had the Pulled pork... Sandwich and it was wonderful. Great flavor, and reasonable portion, but bring the wet naps, it gets messy! Also had the homestyle fries which were just that, delicious! Ordered the Pineapple Hazy to wash it all down with, great choice. They have a niceselection on the menu of both food and beers, especially on tap. A home town favorite for sure! Read more
To begin with, the name is a misnomer, it isn't an Irish pub...which, as a Irishman, is disappointing. The food is typical... bar-grub, but it's not bad. However, it isn't bad place for a cold beverage and a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and quickto serve...which is a real plus. All-in-all, the Shamrock is a pretty decent bar. Read more
Had a nice visit with a friend we hadn't seen in awhile. Nice microbrew selection. The chicken fried steak was really good, but... the mashed potatoes and veggies were barely warm. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Read more
