We had 2 beers & chips with guac. & salsa. Pretty good but we obviously got the bottom of the bag of chips. We told our server &... she offered more chips. We declined & told her to charge us 1/2 price for the app. since we'd eaten the larger chips. ( Our billwas $17.35) That didn't happen. So no tip. Not going back anytime soon. Read more
This will be a place that we frequent! Tonight, Jamie was our server and she is one of the best waitresses that we?ve had in... years. She has a sincere, friendly demeanor and was practically intuitive to our needs. Jamie is remarkably efficient! We hadthe Poutine; which was ridiculously good! My darling had the house (bone in) barbecued wings and a Caesar salad? yep, he foundhis bliss! We also enjoy their sister restaurant Silver Star and suggest that you try them both. We always have a good timehere. Peyton is usually our server and she is wonderful. The last time we were here she and Josh (?) tag teamed and we couldn?thave asked for better or faster service! Payton recommended the pretzel fries over a poutine (which I?ve had twice before). AndI can see pretzel fries becoming a really bad habit, they are delicious! I enjoyed a salad to make up for my appetizer, and itwas was really good. Mr. Wonderful (aka: Hubs) had the fish tacos, which he devoured. Triangle Tavern is just fun! Theatmosphere (oh! Made a trip to Longview, WA on Thanksgiving day. I knew there would not be many places open for food. Thank heavens the Triangle... Tavern was open after 7 pm. What a surprise to find chicken wings and fries that were top notch. Might have to make this our newThanksgiving menu. They were great and so were the margaritas and cold IPA's.
