I was riding my bike from Folsom to Loomis and back today. I was feeling hungry, and it's close to noon, and I stopped at Mr.... Pickles sandwich shop in loomas. When I went to pay I forgot to bring money with me. He handed me the sandwich. No problem, justpass it on, he said. I was taken by his generosity. But I insisted on paying him back. We have to support our community and eatout when you can. I appreciate the owner, and if you're ever in Loomis, go to Mr Pickles for the best sandwich in town. Thanksfor reading. Read more
I hate writing bad reviews, but I'm really disappointed. I have had great experiences in the past, but that wasn't the case... today. I ordered a Big Jake without the avocado and most the rest was the same as normal. I wanted mayo, mustard, cream cheese,pepper jack cheese, turkey, and tomato and a side of cranberry sauce. I got home and there was no mayo, no mustard, hardly anycream cheese, and they had put the cranberry sauce on the sandwich. Also, one half the sandwich had the proper amount of turkeyon it; whereas the other half had hardly any turkey on it (you can see proper amount of turkey in first picture and hardly anyturkey in 2nd picture). When your 7 months pregnant and you get a craving, it's a big bummer when your order is messed up! I wasexcited to go here because not all sandwich shops have cream cheese and cranberry sauce. I'll just have to watch them make itand check sandwich before I leave next time. Read more

I ordered the Hot pastrami And Swiss on sourdough. Was I really good sandwich! Also got a bag of chips in a large drink. Just... over $15. A little pricey but it was a tasty sandwich. Five stars for the staff! We tried a small assortment of sandwiches and they were all good. The kickin' chicken was messier than... expected. The Italian was different than expected, but a good sandwich. The Mr. Pickles received high marks from our kids. Wewould return and recommend you give this location a shot. My favorite Mr. Pickles location. We drive 10-15 minutes, and by 2 other locations to come to this one, they make the best... sandwiches, and the bread is delicious.
