My friend and I visited here one day before we ate to check if reservation is needed or better. They said tables will be only... available either 5pm or 8pm. We chose 8pm, then I was asked they need my credit card. I asked why? If we cancel within 24 hourswhich was already in that range I was, they charge me $20 per person, so which becomes $40. Wow... That is a nice business...Anyway, I booked at 8pm next day dinner. Next day, we came back to eat this time. I ordered Poke bowl. It was, I think $38 orsomething. VERY expensive. But I assumed they had to get those from main land, so each ingredient is expensive??? It has sauceon top of the bowl which I thought it's unnecessary because it kills poke(fish) taste itself. But this might be something whichmost Americans like? I enjoyed the sunset ocean scenario at outside table. I had a overall good experiences and gave 4 stars.(At outside table, I could bring my dog, Jasper, with me which is a good thing for both of us. Read more

Dinner at Haven was a great experience. Glad we were able to make reservations. We started by sharing the Kale Brussels Sprout... Caesar with cocktails. Best Caesar we have had in a long time. It had balanced dressing and great anchovies over hearty mixedkale and shredded fresh Brussels sprouts. My wife enjoyed the Linguine Funghi Con Polo very much. I devoured my GamberoniLinguine. The spot prawns were tender and delicious. We finished by sharing the rustic fruit galette paired it with somebourbon. Relaxed attentive service and amazing food! Reservation system is understandable due to covid, but three reminder emails is excessive. Once at table no service, even water... for 5+ minutes. Limited vegetarian options. Cocktails and food ordered were delicious, but drinks ran dry before we were askedabout ordering another round. View is gorgeous. Go early. Read more
The website was wonky so it took me several tries to place a takeout order, which ended up totalling over $80. I realized that... I'd made a mistake and ordered two of the same pizzas rather than two different pizzas. I tried to call but no one picked up.When we arrived at the pick-up time, the kitchen had just started working on the order, which was totally fine! We weren't in arush. But because of the delay, I asked if it would be possible to switch the pizza I ordered incorrectly. The hostess flat outtold me no. I could see the chef in the back rolling out the dough. We made a reservation and showed up on time. We stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence for at least 5... min. First words out of the hostess’ mount was, “show us your papers comrade “ ( vaccine cert). Totally shocked by this,as mask mandates were lifted at least a month earlier. We were tempted to walk out, but with limited options for meals on lopezisland, we stayed. The ambiance is stunning , but the meal , not so much. The menu is very odd and confusing ( prix fixe). Thesteak was tiny, half the size of a small Hock puck and more like an appetizer. The ahi was tasty but VERY VERY salty as was thesalad. All in all not a good experience and unfortunately can not recommend this place. Read more
This was a great place to eat and came highly recommended by our hotel staff. The food was generous and delicious. The Dungeness... crab cakes i could have eaten for days, and the Burrito was amazing. The only reason i cant give this 5 stars was it was hard toget our glasses refilled, but to be fair, the place was slammed, so please take that into consideration. I would eat here again. Read more
