Stopped over for lunch and were seated at the bar. Laine took great care of us - she was friendly and efficient on the service,... making sure our drinks were topped-off at all times. The Fish & Chips were cooked perfectly. A great stop and definitelyrecommend for anyone looking for a great meal with friendly/ efficient service. Read more

The marina is great but has a very low tide. I gave it 4 stars because we still had to pay for showers at the clubhouse. Women's... was $2 in quarters & the men's is $1.50 . . . Read more

We loved staying here! We did book a room with them, but realized they also have tent sites and would love to come back and... camp. It?s an older hotel but well kept. They have so many great amenities on site, corn hole, ping pong, outdoor pool, spa, barbecues you can use, pool tables, live music, restaurant/bar, bikes and kayak rentals. We also did whale watching and gotpicked up right from their dock. Its just a few minutes from the main town on Lopez Island. We had never been to the San JuanIsland?s before but love how low key and peaceful Lopez Island is. Definitely plan to go back. Read more

The hotel rooms are clean and nice. The front desk staff are amazing. They were always helpful and in a good mood. The... restaurant is a hit and miss. Their food is ok (grilled salmon is the best) but the staff is inconsistent. They look short onstaff so be patient if your food is late or not as you are expecting it. The location, the marina and the pool were awesome. Read more

We stayed at the Resort Marina. The marina prices were significantly inflated above what we normally would pay for a slip due to... the use of the resort therefore, my impressions on our stay is influenced by the fact that we paid a premium for the use of ?TheResort?. If the slip prices had been more in line with what we normally pay I would have given it 4 stars. It is also worthnoting that a few days earlier we had stayed at the Marina in Poet?s Cove which is located on South Pender Island which also hasan associated Resort which was significantly cheaper and also a much nicer facility. We found the Resort to be in somewhat illrepair and the premium we paid for the ?Resort Use? mainly consisted of access to their pool and jacuzzi. Hotel guests had theability to get pool towels but for some reason Marina guests were not eligible. Very disappointing. Showers were $2.00 for 6minutes at the pool facility which in my opinion should have been included as a part of the fee. Entrance into Fisherman?s Baywas a little tricky due to the low depths, and entrance into our slip was even more fun as there was a wicked cross current. Wehad been assigned a slip when we made our reservation and after we had the boat tied up we were asked to move. The person whoassigned us our slip had not considered we were a sailboat and our assigned slip could potentially be too shallow at low tide. With the strong cross current and wind this ended up being not a fun experience (let?s just say it was entertaining for otherpeople to watch!) Lopez Village was a nice walk, although we found out that during the week most of the stores are closed. Itappeared that most were open Thurs/Fri - Sunday. There is a nice super market to provision at and it is a nice way to stretchyour legs. Overall we would not stay here again based solely on the pricing. If we do return we will either try the othermarina or anchor out in the bay. Read more

Let's start with the good: the location is absolutely amazing. The rooms have a great view of the Bay, and so does the... restaurant. I was grateful to get an early check in, hence the three stars for service. The outdoor dining area is very nicelyset up and spaced well. The restaurant staff were friendly and quick to take our order, the fish and chips are great! I woulddefinitely suggest checking your bill when it arrives as this was an area where we had to ask for clarification and have itfixed. The rooms are well appointed, but beware that sound travels very easily and you can hear your neighbors very clearly. Wealso noticed that it was only a quarter of toilet paper in the bathroom, and a phone calling the front desk we were told to comedown to get another. I do not understand why a spare could not be left in the actual room or have somebody send it up. Thecoffee machine is placed in a rather precarious position over the microwave, from a safety perspective, I would not approve ofthis. The hot water does take quite a while to actually flow in but when it does it is hot. Parking is widely available whichis a plus. I guess if you need accommodation in a pinch and don't mind a few of the above mentioned items, this place couldwork. In saying that there are very few options on this island, so plan well in advance. Read more

This was a nice little resort. We did not stay in the rooms so I can't speak for that, we camped in a tent space. It is a big... open field, and was freshly mowed. It's not quite the season yet so none of the tables were out yet, and the pool wasn't openyet either. They also don't have fire pits but it's an island so maybe the fire danger is too much in a big grassy field. Therestrooms were nice and the hot tub was also a good treat. Some things were a little run down, but they were also doing freshconstruction and repairs. There was a local dog that was running around charged us on the docks, I'm a dog person and I had mydog on a leash and kids with us, so i hate to make this a negative point, but it was a big dog and it wasnt just brisly hair, itwas teeth and claws and angry barking/charging... We all just stood very still and blocked the kids and the owners called itback. But it seemed to belong to some one who was always there so it was constantly out, and we spent alot of time walkingaround the building the opposite way to avoid conflict. We do have to say the food was great, the beers were cold, and themarina had ample open spots and it was pretty close to the village for groceries and shopping needs, even a goat and woolfestival the weekend we went. The staff was helpful and the grounds were clean. It looks like all the rooms have a great viewand they all have a nice patio or deck that faces the water. Read more
