I adore the delicious food from Poutine Your Mouth but this review is actually for their new catering arm, Blue Heron... Catering.\n\nJen and her team provided an exceptional catering experience. They recently catered my daughter?s wedding receptionand the next day?s brunch on Orcas Island. The food and drink were spectacular and her staff were professional, efficient, and apleasure to have around. Jen cooked her heart out, even missing her son?s prom, just to make sure we had unforgettable meals.She told me her love language is feeding people and we really felt that love! They are also opening a restaurant over on LopezIsland, so whether you hire Jen and team to cater your event or head to Lopez and eat at their new place (they?re going to havebiscuits and gravy!), you simply have to meet and be fed by them! We had them cater our wedding reception and it was GREAT! The food and menu were phenomenal. We had poutine, tacos and... sandwiches with dairy and gluten free option. Jen is an excellent communicator and helped us customize our menu and had greatsuggestions. Everyone commented on how great the food was and the way they set it up people didn\'t have to wait long. We found the truck ,near closing time, in from of the Blossom Grocery (also a wonderful business).\n\nIt was staffed with 4... youngsters who, when asked, were eager to give their takes on the food and what we might like to try. We ended up getting astandard poutine order and a set of veggie tacos.\n\nI\'d recommend poutine with a bit more zip. The standard gravy is a lot ofthe \'same\' taste from bite to bite, and mostly covers up the subtle flavor of the curds. The fries were good and plentiful,but overall still a bit expensive for what it is. I say get it to try it, but you\'ll probably come back for something with moregoing one.\n\nThe tacos were much better in our opinion. They had a great sauce and were perfectly made. For a quick lunch or afun switch up, I would love to be able to visit Poutine again. Read more
