We went there at 6:30 PM on a Friday, and the place was already packed when we arrived. Thankfully a table had just become... vacant so we were able to be seated immediately. Even though the place was packed with customers and clearly understaffed, theserver still took our orders promptly and got our apps out pretty quickly. The restaurant?s ?resident? magician was also goingaround and entertaining customers at their tables, which was not only a great way to distract us from the longer-than-usual waitfor our food (which I completely understand due to how many diners there were plus the nationwide staffing problem), but it wasgenuinely an amazing magic act. A venue with the best view of lake Erie, and the least amount of vision. A retractable floor to ceiling glass window with a... beautiful view of the marina, that's been neither opened in 5 years or washed in 5 years. I only hope the dishes are cleanerthan that. I was very dissapointed in the taste of the food. I took my best friend to dinner for his birthday and we both ordered the... filet mignon. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. The meat did not taste like anything and was dry and tough. I never use steak sauce on my meat but had to ask for some for my steak. We also got the cheddar mashed potatoes and theyweren't the best either. I will say the vegetable medly was good but when spending $35 a plate, I would expect a little betterquality and taste. The restaurant itself was clean and the views were outstanding but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go if thefood tastes the way it did tonight. I felt like the $90 I spent tonight was a total waste. I've been to Erie Steak & Seafood a few times this summer because I loved the former restaurant food and ambiance... can't beat... the location with beautiful sunset views over Lake Erie. The food is just average for the prices skewing to not great, dependingon the item. Twice I've tried different mixed drinks and they were not drinkable. I try not to judge service too harshly in thecurrent environment where it's impossible for anyone to staff as they'd like to, but when we were ready to have our check takenthe server literally said, "I'll run your card when I'm done rolling silverware." Service was great, food delicious . I had the basket combo with breaded walleye and perch. They gave a big portion. Nachos ... good, tasted the walleye stuffed with crab that was good. Nice views of marina and lake. Can watch the sunset as you dine. Wason patio, which part of can be enclosed for inclement weather. Read more
Very nice setting and the food was very good. A bit an on the pricey side, but well worth it. Kids menu was very reasonable.... Service was good, but the bathrooms were subpar. No Toilette paper in the women's bathroom and no towels in the men's (and thedryer didn't work). Maybe nitpicking, but it does ruin the experience a bit. Read more
The only thing good on this meal was my salmon it started from the beginning with my bloody Mary having way too much... horseradish. Overpowering in my drink just taste like horseradish sauce. Are waitress was horrible with service. If you'relooking for a good view and mediocre food I would suggest if you're looking for a fine dining this is out of the question! Read more
Ended up going here with some friends. The appetizers we had were amazing. Very large fried clams. I ordered a mixed drink, I... don't remember the name. Personally I think it had to much alcohol in it for a restaurant setting. Very strong. When i drink ata restaurant, I personally want flavor with a buzz, not the alcoholic bite and a splash of taste. That's reserved for a night orat the bar when I already have an uber or another ride. Read more
