Summer Staff Party- On August 25, 2022 we had Chef Thomas and his staff cater a corporate summer staff party, we were absolutely... blown away by his food. Chef Thomas did a surprise menu, and did not disappoint. 50+ staff all raved about the food, and howamazing it was. Chef Thomas also had the task of preparing 10 vegan meals, and they were also a hit. His staff were professionaland kind- always ensuring we had everything we needed. Thomas and his crew are outstanding!! They catered our entire summer wedding from the charcuterie board at cocktail hour, dinner... and dessert, to the late night snack. Every single guest complimented how awesome the food was!! They were able to do vegandishes and as a vegan bride, that made our day that much more special! We hosted our wedding on a family farm and the forestceremony was a ways away from the barn reception, and they brought food back to us while we took photos, so we wouldn't misscocktail snacks. Thomas is the complete professional you look for in a caterer. From first meeting him he walked us through the process of... setting up the food for our wedding. After a short conversation, Thomas took in our theme, guest numbers, and ideas and quicklyprovided us with a sample menu, rental items required, and overall budget. Throughout the planning process, Thomas made himselfavailable from his busy schedule to discuss ideas, beverage pairings, and dietary substitutions. Thomas was very accommodatingto our vision and went above and beyond by securing a number of tough to find craft beers for our wedding bar. As for the foodand service, it was beyond our expectations. Thomas and his staff absolutely nailed it. The food was cooked to absoluteperfection and the service was timed to perfectly coincide with our schedule of speeches. The passion Thomas has for his craftis evident in the attention to detail he puts into the ingredients he uses, his creative use of flavours and the way each dishwas plated to create a visual experience that looked as good as it tasted. The service staff was attentive and professional,ensuring meals were served and cleared in short order, attending to any guests needs during the service, and providing fast barservice to keep people on the dance floor during the reception. The In Home Chef recently did our wedding a week ago and all of our guests cannot stop talking about the food. I have heard it... said from numerous people that it was the best wedding food they have ever had and both my husband and I couldn't agree more.The food was fresh, it was beautiful and made you feel good as you ate it. Chef Thomas Waite and his staff though In Home Chef provided such high quality catering for our wedding in July 2022. Chef... Thomas was highly communicative every step of the way, and no matter how many emails we sent with questions regarding everyaspect of providing food and the bar for our big day, he was always quick to respond with the info we were looking for. ChefThomas invited us to a food tasting where we got to know him and his wife, who were fantastic hosts and made us feel right athome. For our wedding in particular, we provided Chef Thomas with a bit of a challenge as we had many guests with dietaryrestrictions and allergies, to which he completely worked around and developed a fantastic and delicious menu! Some of ourguests who have been to many weddings stated this was some of the best food they have ever had from a catering service, and weabsolutely agree! Chef Thomas and his staff were incredibly helpful and provided such an excellent degree of communication. The In home chef saved the day fo us with getting on board for our wedding last minute. They have an amazing menu to choose from... and the experience with dealing thomas was exceptional. I had the in home chef cater my wedding this past fall. It was nothing short of amazing in terms of flexibility, level of... service as well as the overall kindness of Chef Thomas. I had a small wedding but it was made so special with their services.Britney was the amazing server, she even set out a special tray for me and my husband when we got back from our photos. As wellas Chef Josh with the spectacular food accommodating with various vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Overall I wouldrecommend in home chef to anyone, they truly made things so fantastic on top of everything they made sure it was all very Covidsafe. Wonderful catering company! Read more
We hired Thomas and his team for our wedding in July 2022 and we are so glad we made that decision!! Throughout the process of... planning, we sent Thomas soo many emails with all our questions and he was quick and happy to respond to all of them. He madeour planning feel very smooth and easy. We had a backyard wedding and rented from A&B Party Rentals, and Thomas worked directlywith them to ensure we had all the necessary amounts of plates/cups, etc. He also supplied bartenders for our bar and maderecommendations for what was necessary to buy in order to keep the bar stocked all night. In terms of the day-of, I could seeThomas and his team in the background working very hard in order to make the catering perfect! Both the presentation and thetaste of the food were incredible! And he made sure to adhere to any dietary requests from our guests. Despite Thomas beingsuper busy with many different weddings this summer, he did an excellent job and making ours feel very special andone-of-a-kind.
