In my search for gluten-free restaurants near me, I found Glory Days, and I'm so glad I visited! I ordered carry-out, and one of... the first things they asked when placing my order was, "do you have any food allergies?" Went for a group lunch. We were seated, but within 5min, our group was moved to a different set of tables that had a couple... fewer seats as well as considerably less room. (The above was my only complaint). The service was prompt and attentive, the menuoffered numerous choices, the food was tasty and the portions served were large. I enjoy the atmosphere at Glory Days and try toeat here 1-2x per month, though I usually go to their Burke, VA location. Read more
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ate outside with plenty of social distance and the servers were masked... and gloved. We went for dinner and got the crab cake sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak. The side salad was remarkable. I wouldhave them to go a little lighter on the dressing. 5/31/22 I got carry out 2 nights ago. They forgot an item as well as theaccompanying comdiments and were really slow as multiple people were either waiting for an item or waiting for a refund as theyhad waited too long. Glory Days have to say was somewhat disappointing. The waiter was good and that was about it. The wings were not spicy and not... hot temperature wise. Their shrimp appetizer was not good at all. Especially for the price they charged. The drinks were alsonot to par. I had to change my review in Glory Days. The manager reached out to me and apologized for the service and asked if iwould return . I did and was quite surprised to the service I received. our server was Miranda and she was very polite and tookour orders and was very attentive during our stay. The food was good we had nachos and it was delicious. The drinks were good.So i was not disappointed. I am glad i decided to go back and give it another try. Thank you Glory Days I shall be back. I have been a fan of glory days since they opened the Frederick Md location years ago. I have missed it in the past few years... since moving this way and when I saw one in my travels in Lorton I knew I had to visit. I brought my daughter for lunch todayand everything was amazing! Second time at a Glory Days. First time at this location. Clean, nice atmosphere, courteous staff. Ordered Smoked Wing Thigh... appetizer. Large portion for an appetizer and nicely plated. Was a bit on the dry side and wished it would have had more of atrue smoked taste with more rub. Portion big enough to take home and cut up and add to some pasta for lunch tomorrow. After gotthe meatloaf sandwich. Again played nicely. Like my fries a bit crisper but seasoned well. Good sandwich for cold day. Over allpleasant visit will return when I am in the area. Read more
Dine-in experience: We were a group of 11 including 5 children. The food was outstanding and delicious. Everything tasted great.... My only complain was about the consistency of bringing out the food. Two orders came very late that they were eating alone aftereveryone have already finished. Also they forgot one of the appetizers. Our server was great and accommodating to our needs evenwith the loud kids. Our orders included: 18 boneless chicken wings w/Buffalo sauce 18 boneless chicken wings w/BBQ sauce Clamchowder soup 2 kids Cheese sliders 5 Cheese burger terrifica Glory's burger Swiss mushrooms burger Center cut steak w/ mashedpotatoes and veggies. I will always come back to glory days because their burgers are the best and recommend it to myfriends. Old review/ Carry out experience: I took a carry out from the restaurant so I didn't experience the in-dinning to rateit. However my choice was one of their burgers and it was amaaazing. You can tell that the meat is excellent quality andtoppings are carefully placed and arranged. Bread we toasted. The french fries was normal home-made type with skin but seasonedwell. Not what I expected. Our party of 5 adults and 3 under 12 we were provided good service, not excellent service as our provider... seemed overloaded with tables. Most of the items were well prepared and plentiful for the price. My choice was a realdisappointment. Having ordered the 1/2 chicken salad I expected more. In a small bowl were 4 chicken nuggets sitting on topof a small amount of lettuce and a few other accoutrements. For the price I expected at minimum a better presentation. Chopping up the nuggets and placing it all on a small plate would, in my opinion, have provided a much better visual appeal.
