My first Michelin star restaurant in Cali! Superb service, creativity, and quality. Even for Monday lunch, the restaurant was... popular! Must order the mussels and tartine. ???? bonus: Butter cake for our bday celebration! Read more

Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Succinct and refined menu. Fries were cooked... perfectly - crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. I had the braised beef cheek sandwich. Bread was crisp and soft (likethe fries). Meat was shredded and flavorful (reminded me of barbacoa). Sandwich does not look large when it arrives but it isquite filling. It was not inexpensive but was definitely worth the money. Fries and sandwich were about $27 with tip Such acool place to eat in a quaint wine country town. So glad I was given this recommendation by someone who knew about it. I willdefinitely share this spot with others I know who appreciate the tastier things in life! Read more

My 1st Michelin star restaurant! I was so excited they didn't disappoint. It was prix fixed menu that changes every week.... Extensive wine list. Outside the US. If you're in the area this restaurant is a must in the sleepy town of Los Alamos. Read more

Where do I begin?! The service is the best I have ever received, absolutely exceptional. Micah and Sara took such good care of... us. They didn’t rush us at all but also knew exactly when we were ready to move on to the next course or the next glass ofwine. The food was unlike anything I’ve had before as I am not very familiar with Franch cuisine and all of it was phenomenal. The sauce’s with each course highlighted each dish perfectly. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you Micah and Sara! Read more

Looking for a cute homie spot that delivers on flavor in a totally unexpected way? Look no further. The best way to describe the... food is, “an adventure in flavor” as the combination of sweet, salty, and acidic will excite your pallet. Highly recommendthis place to any foodie, it is a destination spot that I would for sure drive 3+ hours to enjoy. The staff was extremelywelcoming and they tailored the menu to us by writing happy birthday, and our server, Zack, was attentive and informative. If hedidn’t know the answer to something he would go find out, by the end of the meal it felt like he was already part of ourparty, I can’t speak more highly about his service. Most importantly he knew the menu in and out, including ingredients andallergens. I will be coming back as a returning customer, to introduce more people to this gem, stuck in the middle of thetimeless town of Los alamos. Read more

Bell's is a French-inspired Bistro in Santa Barbara county by Per Se alums Daisy and Greg Ryan. There has been so much... overwhelmingly positive praise about Executive Chef Daisy's work, so I had high expectations going into my dinner. Well, expectations exceeded to the point where my friend and I had to go back a few days later for lunch before leaving SantaBarbara! At dinner every course was hit after hit - from the first luscious bite of Santa Barbara uni and caviar on millecrêpe, to the simple but stunningly bright salad, and ending on sweet citrus notes of blood orange and meyer lemondesserts. Lunch was a more casual menu with traditional French bistro fare such as Burgundy snails and steak tartare. Simpleand solid. If I had to just recommend one meal, I would definitely say try the dinner prix fixe menu, though you can't go wrongwith lunch either. Read more

Good food but a little disappointing overall. The Hope Ranch mussels were luke warm at best and the broth was nothing special.... My beef cheek sandwich was room temperature and a little bland. The outside patio has a mostly decent ambiance, but it's smalland they converted some seating into a storage and wine room so we felt we were seated right next to the service traffic. Butthe service was excellent, the cultured butter was excellent, and they have an interesting local beer selection. I'm told thedinner is better than the lunch, but frankly I can't see myself spending $200+ for dinner for 2 in that diner with a patioenvironment. Read more

Sublime and perfect. This French bistro inspired restaurant is a perfect way to spend a two hour lunch. The snails, wine,... service and fare are all top notch and value laden. One of the best. Order as much as you can. Read more
