Best place on the planet! I have been taking my family since 2009. My kids love the breakfast burritos, cheese burgers, and tri... tip sandwich. I personally love the Chicken Burger with fries! Went to have lunch here with my wife and was greeted by a stressed out server with an unfriendly vibe. I thought to myself as... long as the food is good here I?ll let it pass. After taking our order and receiving the food, my wife found a hair in herenchilada dish so we sent it back thinking we were getting a new one sent out but we were wrong. After receiving the dish, mywife checked again and found another hair on her dish. So we went to show the cook and spoke to the front to tell her that wasdisgusting. The employee immediately made an excuse of blaming the server in saying she mixed the hair in the plate while tryingto show them. It essentially meant that she admitted to using the exact same plate just covered it up with the same hair andsent it back to us. They didn?t even accommodate us after all of that trouble. We really enjoyed this place. It's in an Old Town Los Alamos where everything is and it's original state. Lots of antiques etc.... Charlie's sits at the end of town. From what I hear it's always busy and I can see why. The servers are very friendly and thefood is really good. Prices are really good as well. Read more
What a gem! I was craving some home cooked breakfast and Charlie's served it up. The biscuits and gravy were hot, flaky, and... generous. The half portion was enough to fill me up. The gravy had bits of bacon and sausage, a nice creamy texture (notgelatinous), and the biscuit was buttery. Perfect! My husband got the Denver omelet and loved it just as much. The hamburger was simple and tasty (single cheeseburger with pepper jack) the fries were good and the beer is reasonably priced... (draft blue moon). Charlie's is a good place to stop for a old school hamburger and beer. The servers were really nice to. Read more
We stopped in on our way back to L.A. had the 1/4 lb cheeseburger, mom had patty melt my son had a double mushroom burger with... cheese. Very fresh. Delicious. Bonnie was a server. Read more
