I absolutely love the Fruity French Toast at Rick’s Cafe. The Mimosa is really good too! Every time I visit Los Altos I make... sure to stop in for breakfast. I enjoy it every time. I’m glad I went on a Friday because it wasn’t terribly busy. Theweekend are usually packed but that says something about how good the food is. Stop by Rick’s Cafe if you’re ever in thearea. Nice space in Los Altos with the tried and true long-time-local feel. I had a basic two-egg breakfast and I have no complaints.... My mocha was more of a coffee hot chocolate but it’s not a barista type spot. Nice spot for a lunch meeting, spacious boothsand quiet. Read more

Absolutely loved Rick's cafe for breakfast. Went more than once whilst I was visiting my sister. My husband had the Mexican... skillet which was yum with perfectly poached eggs. My standard order was the chocolate and strawberry crepes! Delicious withjust the right amount of chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream. The crepes are thin and light too. What more can you askfor? Would definitely recommend. Read more

This is a classic breakfast/ brunch place in Los Altos. I have been here many times and I am always very happy with my meal and... overall experience. The restaurant is quiet which is nice for a more calm experience. The servers are really nice and genuinelycare about your experience. Some of the portions feel a little bit too big, but the leftovers are nice! Read more

I had the crepes and plain pancakes and they were delicious!!! Massive variety of breakfast dishes. I haven’t seen such... variety in one menu anywhere in the world which I loved as I enjoy breakfast. Only down side was the waiting times. 1 hour to beseated and around 45’ to be served (ps it was Mother’s Day). Read more

The staff here are nice. They have outdoor seating. I've been getting their ultimate lumberjack every time I visit. It's a... huge pancake with wheat germs, blueberries, banana, nut, served with syrup and a side of blueberry compote. It's a unique dish. They have all the standard diner egg dishes. Their coffee is probably one of the worst things on the menu. One the fewbreakfast places in town. Read more

Would give it extra 0.5 stars if I could for an overall 3.5. It's been awhile since I've eaten here so maybe things have... changed, but I recall I had a better experience previously. Nothing wrong with the food - it was just a standard Americanbreakfast at the Bay Area price point. Wish there were different choices of bread instead of bagel. Cappuccino was straight upno bueno though - tasted watery and burnt. Read more

One of the best brunch place in bay area. French toast was so soft with right amount of sweetness, not too overpowering. White... bread toasted yo perfection. Hashbrown were quite unique with parsley. Scrambled eggs were so soft. Got the basics tight verywell. Read more
