The inside is very cramped feeling and they tend to have a rush. Never try Teaspoon before but after this, I don't think I'm... going to get it anymore. The drinks have been very sweet and I thought I was drinking pure sugar drink. I never could've known.My drink was Strawberry Colada and wow, it feels like I'm tasting straight up syrup. I did try to mix it but that made itsweeter. Really wish they adjust it to match people taste. They also forgot to add boba to the violet latte one and had to askedto fix it. Read more
The Assam black tea is good - and I was particularly interested in knowing how they interpret Assam tea. I was quite impressed.... One small tip - allow us to modify the sugar amount as that wasn?t allowed for this special creation. Read more
The best honey boba in the bay area! Favorite drinks are their house milk tea and lychee milk tea. Love their more recent... addition of oatmilk alternatives, it tastes great with my favorite drinks. They also sell shaved snow and delicious mochidonuts. Read more
The tea tastes disgusting but the mango smoothie is amazing! I got Toffee black tea, sweetness 100%, house creama, regular ice... and coconut jelly. Tastes kind of like normal Thai tea but watery and has a weird after taste. My bf got the Classic Thai tea,no honey boba and it tastes like cleaning products, Thai tea and not a lot of cream. When I went to ask to exchange mine I wastold no bc I tried it. I literally took a sip of it and brought it straight back. The cashier refused to do anything for me andsaid well I helped you custom pick your order(first time customer here btw), I even insisted on them taking my drink back. Iasked to speak to the manager and he said shes going to say no, I said I?d like to ask her myself. He said you can go find heryourself she?s walking around the shopping center. I walked away and went back to the place I had my food at and started writingthis review. An employee walked by and it was a lady, I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I told her I hated mydrink and was wondering if I could exchange it out. She instantly said yes and asked what I?d like? I said I?d like to play itsafe this time and get the regular mango smoothie and even offered to take it to my outdoor seating where I?m eating dinner. Shejust dropped it off and it tastes amazing, so fruity, sweet and great consistency. I will not be drinking my tea, but I hatewasting money. So hopefully the homeless man at the light will enjoy the tea. My bf is going to share the mango smoothie with meand we?re gonna give the other one away too if we find a second homeless person. I've tried several drinks here and they were all spectacular. The workers are all nice and sweet. I love the almond pudding as a... topping. You can really customize your drink inc the sweetness level which I think it's fantastic. The milk tea snow was reallytasty!!! The Classic Thai Tea has lots of flavor as well. The line did not seem that long when we arrived but it appears large groups will come and one or two will make all the orders... while the rest wait outside. Thus don't expect the line to always move so quick even if one would think so. Nevertheless theirsnow desserts and customization bubble tea options were great. Read more
On this location specifically: my favorite bob location ever (and I've tried A LOT). The boba here is very very consistently... perfect (even among Teaspoon locations, which is fairly consistent in general). Maybe 1/10 times the boba is a bit offtexturally, and I came literally daily for about a year. I get boba more often than anyone I know, so I think I have a highstandard, though my focus is more on the pearls than the drinks ???? Often quite busy, so expect a decent wait at peak times. Aswith teaspoon in general, quality milk tea and decent other drinks. On teaspoon in general: honey boba are very sweet, but theflavor is amazing! I find drinks run on the sweet side in general; I prefer less sweet and I just avoid any of the fruit baseddrinks (the ones based on jams are wildly sweet) because it's too sweet for me here.
