Their croissants are the butteriest and flakiest croissants I’ve had in LA. Their vegan bacon is actually pretty tasty and... their coffee is good, nothing to write home about but definitely tasty. This is a highland park coffee shop/bicycle repair shop and I stop in here a couple times a year when I shopping on this street.... This last visit I had a cold brew mojito which was amazing and delicious. I also saw a lady buying multiple loaves of sourdoughbread so i bought a sandwhich made with the bread, took it home, toasted the bread and put the sandwich back together. It wasincredible even though the roast beef was so thickly cut it was barely edible as a sandwich (the meat was great, just too thickfor a roast beef sandwich.) I used to enjoy their vegan breakfast sandwich a few years back when it was one of the only options in the area. I haven’t... been there for a while because orders take a long time to prepare. This morning, I decided to try it again and gave ample timeto have the sandwich prepared. Ordered online and quote time was 30 minutes. Walked there and when I got there at 30 minutes theperson at the counter told me that the sandwich just went in and needed another 4 minutes. Walked around the block and thenpicked up the sandwich. The result was disappointing: dry, thin, and still not even cooked thoroughly. There are now moreoptions for vegan breakfast and coffee in the area that are faster and better quality. Read more

I had breakfast at a bloc the other day.The vegan breakfast sandwich was pre-packaged and therefore a little bit dry after being... reheated, especially the english muffin. The shop serves up coffee, pastries, beverages, breakfasts, but also has some bikerelated stuff like helmets, bidons, sunglasses. They are fun to check out while waiting for your drink or food. Killer vibe! Such a rad little shop. The employees and owner are super friendly. They make all baked goods in house (minus the... croissants) and support other local businesses in the products they sell. The coffee and cookies are on point! Read more
