Reviews for Bacetti in Los Angeles, CA
It was an experience dining at Bacetti. With no reservations, waiting time was about 30min, at the meantime I was able to wait... at the bar and have a drink. Asked if I could get a Focaccia with Honey Butter. Just saying, the appetizer blew my mind! Itlooked like a Brioche topped with Rosemary, black olives and a bit of Raisin. And the Butter was huge, but I can only say thecombination together was like dancing in my mouth. Felt I was in heaven. So fluffy and crunchy on the outside! After that I wasplaced to the table. I ordered Broccolini and Strozzapreti Cacio e pepe. The food came pretty fast, I asked a waiter for a winerecommendation and than somehow I waited for it like a long time. I thought he probably forgot. So another waiter came to checkon me, and I told them I got a wine recommendation from their co-worker. He'll check for me and brought it right away. To thepasta, it was very delicious. But for my taste it could be more stronger, a bit more pecorino would be great. Anyways I wantedto request if they could make it stronger, but the restaurant was really busy So I didn't bother with it. But the thing waswhile the other waiter was putting my dishes away and asked the unfinished food to pack up. He said he will bring a box for me.Which was a bit confusing, but he literally meant to bring the box and I had to pack it up myself....well unusual for me. Ithink the Manager of the restaurant came to my table and asked how the general service was and the food. So it was nice tointeract with guest as much as possible. He kindly offered a dessert for me which was the delicious panna cotta topped withfigs, mint and a sprinkle of salt. It was really nice and refreshing! The panna cotta wasn't too firm as I know it. But that wasreally nice, with the fig it was a great combination. I asked the waiter what was the fig reduced with and he gave me an answerthat it was with Balsamico vinegar and sugar. Which didn't really Taste like it I asked the manager aswe Read more
Great ambiance. Amazing food. However if you are charging 20% automatic gratuity at least have the wait staff check on the... tables occasionally. Please refill wine and water glasses. I know I can pour my own wine but why am I paying an extra 20% foryou to open $9 water bottle or a min $70 bottle of wine. Unless the automatic gratuity is heavily geared toward the cookingstaff. What an amazing restaurant. Nine courses on a good menu, and in each, as did the last course. The pastas were very nice, while... the Orkant sea, which we tried both for pastas and for the show, was exquisite and very tasty. The veal chop was tender seasonedand perfectly seared. This is the place that I would go to weekly if I lived in Los Angeles. The staff is attentive but stillnot overbearing and recommendations or just awesome Read more
Don't hate me for not posting any photos. The food was just so amazing that I did not want to put the food down to pick up the... phone. This place is awesome! The ambient is elegant and comfortable. The food is elevated, seasoned boldly without beingaggressive. They had an excellent wine selection. The service was very warm and welcoming. Their pizza was perfection. Youcan tell that chef Joel puts his heart into the food he prepares. From execution to flavors, the team at Bacceti know what theyare doing! Read more
Deliciousness beyond your traditional Italian fare, paired with excellent service and blissful atmosphere.
Best Italian oh my goodness! I didn?t take any photos but honestly the star of the meal were the small plates. I recommend the... broccolini, Caesar salad, and other veggie small plates. We were a group of 6 and we shared everything which is the way to go.Everything was divine except the tiramisu which only tasted like espresso and nothing else. Read more
