Looked up a unique dining experience on Yelp and this place popped up. A short walked from Hollywood walk of fame. Very friendly... staff. Everything was prepared fresh. I had the Oui burger. Absolutely delicious! The sauce was amazing. I also had the garliccilantro fries. OMG! So good!! Worth a visit if you're in the area! Read more

Though the small restaurant was full when I came in, the staff worked very quickly to deliver a delicious sandwich! The fella... working at the register was very attentive, anticipated my needs, and showed genuine interest in my experience. After I ate mysandwich, I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, and one of the chefs handed it to me before I even finished signing my name on thescreen at the register. So glad I came here. Delicious banh mi sandwich with good mix of textures and flavors: warm crisp bread, juicy & flavorful pork belly, along with... cool veggies. I liked the hit of fruity spice with the chili pepper, which provided just enough kick. Worth going off my nocarbs diet for! Read more

Chicken Katsu Banh Mi / French roll with pickled carrot and daikon, chicken cutlet, cucumber, jalapeno, scallion, mint,... cilantro, mayo and chicken liver pate - 5 ????! Garlic cilantro French fries - 5 ????! Banh Oui is in a trendy little foodcorner closeby to the tourist area of Hollywood. It is a little shop with limited seating. I was there right before a lunch rushand I lucked out with a nice seat. I have never seen a chicken katsu x banh mi combo before so I was immediately intrigued.Katsu is Japanese and they combined it with how a banh mi is normally assembled and the mashup is brilliant and tasty! Theyeven went a step farther and added a layer of chicken liver pate since a pate is often on a regular banh mi. The fries werevery addictive, very hot, and excellent. Overall a great experience. But be careful of the parking. Since they are next to atourist area during peak hours it's all valet. Read more

Vietnamese inspired & delicious! The Oui Burger is delicious and has a very Vietnamese flavor complex with a bit of French... flavor profiles as well. The Pork Belly Banh Mi is filled with juicy caramelized pork and vinegary veggies. It?s much morejuicy and vinegary than traditional banh mi, but still delicious. The Vietnamese coffee is ok but does not taste similar totraditional Vietnamese coffee. I would skip this item if I returned. Overall it?s a cute place with some delicious entres. Read more

The lemon pepper tofu was great. However, the mushroom salad was so spicy that it was inedible. It's been 45 minutes and my lips... are still burning. Definitely won't trust this place again. Read more

The pork belly is amazing it literally melts in your mouth. I wasn?t a fan of the carrots and other veggies on my bahn mi, the... flavors honestly didn?t connect with me. I did really enjoy one of their fry options, which is tossed in a few spices?it makesfor a very interesting flavor experience. The service was exceptional as well and I?d definitely stop here again for lunch. Read more

Brussels sprouts were way to salty. Dressing is already a little salty. It?s not edible this way. Pork belly sandwich was too... dry. Needs more dressing, even if only on the side, etc?was so excited to try your store. Especially since I?m from NYC and hadhigh expectations. You let me down today! Ps. And you forgot my chocolate chip cookie got dessert inside my take outbag? Owner: I get that you are a small business. That?s why this stuff becomes so critical to get it accurate to all yourcustomers? Read more
