Second time coming here from Colorado, wouldn’t choose any other Caribbean food restaurant. This place never disappoints... I’ll continue to come back when visiting California. So, this place was bought from another Belizean family... And I Miss Flackas and the Pariente service... The food was very good,... and they were extremely friendly. These new belizean owners..whoever they are, and rude and and have NO customer service skillswhat so ever. The man that serviced me was rather offsetting, and I seemed as if he didn't even want to be there. I was askinghim questions about the menu about the panadas that he had,his whole demeanor was as if he didn't have time to explain to mehurry up in order what you want so I gave him my card and he just passed me my car looking at another direction and telling me15 to 20 minutes so I decided just to stand outside. As far as the food is concerned it's no good The Bryson beans were stillwhite there was no coloring and had no taste no flavor the meat that they gave me I ordered stew beef very very little meat inthe container and the pinatas were not good at all. I know not to go to this place ever again. There's much better places to gothere's Tracy's there's Mars you have to drive a little bit further but if you want good quality Belizean food this would notbe the place to go they're fooling you and the prices are way too high. But if you know Nothing about Belizean food or how the quality taste should be..this slop you will like. I found to have wasted my money on this food. Which I threw away????????. I ohad my family members try it as well who are Belizean..they felt the same way. Our thoughts were how are they staying inbusiness. As I stated before there are much better restaurants you can go to and get quality food and better tasting food. The explosion of flavors, oh my the Oxtails and the dark meat chicken rice beans and potatoe salad was more than I can explain... or expected from this tiny little hole in the wall. Love this place! Its local to me and always very vibrant. The food has NEVER been anything less than fresh and amazing. The... panades are as authentic as your belizean grandmother making them. Authentic belizean food is harder to find on this side oftown so this place is a gem! It's also ridiculously affordable. I try to stop by at least once a week just to please my tastebuds. Read more
