Ok, so I have to say this? I?ve been a longtime customer of BSL and overall, my experience has been great! However - the South... La Brea location has really started to drop the ball of late. The past 3 orders that I?ve placed have been disappointing to saythe least. Perhaps new management? If so, they?re gonna start losing customers if they don?t step up. Today I ordered a proteinbowl which usually has a fairly generous helping of salmon and a soft poached egg. Well I got what seems to be less than aquarter of a piece of smoked salmon (less than I?d feed to a baby) and a hard poached egg. Please rectify!! Read more

Service is so awful. Last time I visited three guys were joking around and hanging out as I waited for my order. Didn?t think... much of it, thought my food was taking a while so baristas were resting. 30 min later one of them asks me what I?m waiting forand I tell them, my entire order. Then he starts making my drink and puts in my food order. I waited 45 min for two drinks andan avo toast but thought It was an off day. I come back today and place an mobile order instead to pick up for a drink and avotoast with prosciutto which is $3 extra. I bring it home to find out the prosciutto is missing. I try to call to ask what I cando and the number goes straight to a automated message redirecting me to their website. I really wish I could have a betterexperience here, food and drinks are amazing. Ive been coming here for a few years now. Honestly this time I was very disappointed not only in service, but by the food too.... It started off with the cashier being rude to me for not having a mask. Even when he gave me my coffee the guy was just unpleasent. I has asked for 2 eggs on my salad only got one. Ordered the Breakfast Bowl, avocado toast, and latte. They were all good. I was definitely excited on the latte as I really... enjoyed Australian coffee. I could say it is pretty close to what I had in Melbourne. Store is taking COVID-19 precautionsseriously. You can order ahead for pick-up or dine outside. Will surely go back and try other food.
