I'm visiting from Miami and ordered Bootleg from Uber Eats and man did I score! I love square/pan pizza when done right and... these guys nailed it! Perfectly delicious crust which is dense and filling and crispy and chewy, with an ample amount of tangysauce and mouth watering cheese. I also got the stinky uglies(garlic knots) which were awesome! Best pizza I have had in LAand the amount of food you get for the value is also the best I have had so far. Great place! Read more
Nice local place for traditional SQUARE deep dish pizza. The slices are a little expensive at $7 each, but you can get a full... square for $16-26. All the options are traditional, nothing experimental here. Eat here for a traditional pizza dinner. Read more
3rd visit to Bootleg today. The pep'd up pizza is delicious however today i got a pizza that was undercooked with cheese and... parts of the dough uncooked. Hard to rate less than 3 as i was extremely happy with the pizza my 2 previous visits. edit: youguys should consider adding a lining to the pizza boxes to eliminate some of the dough sticking to the pizza box. The pizzas may seem small but they're very filling. Wouldn't really call it deep dish, more like a pan pizza. Sauce is good. The... Pep'd up pepperoni pizza has a ton of pepperoni so expect a salt explosion. Interestingly enough it was not that oily. Crust ispretty darn good! They offer pick up and deliver via Postmates. Had to make an actual post for this bad boiii!!! Naturally leavened sourdough crust with the roni cups and sprinkle of parm for... that extra salty kick=HEAVEN!!! There was a few local spots in Phoenix I had that gave me an ok impression of this Detroit stylepizza but LA just took me to a whole nother mothership breh... Bootleg just opened a few blocks from my house. Every time I drove by there was a line outside waiting patiently for their food.... I had to see what this was about. My first time visiting was a Friday night only to find out they had sold out of dough! Thisonly made me want to come back even more. Sold out? What is this place!? I came back a few days later and ordered a few slicesso I could taste a variety of their pizza. My favorite was the Hot Jimmy - so much flavor!!!! The dough was awesome, thick, butairy, and a charred crust like nothing I?d ever had. Super excited Bootleg ended up on Pico, we needed this! Read more
