We picked up two pizzas last week and I was really impressed by the quality of this pizza, the friendliness of the staff and how... quick it was ready for pick up (15 minutes!). I’ll definiely be ordering again. We got the cherry bomb and cheese plain. Thecrust was the best I’ve ever had, thin, tasty and fresh, even the next day. I have found my new favorite pizza spot! Love the space! Clean and chic. Food is tasty, the pineapple- cucumber ???? drink is the best. Can be made boozy as well. We... had the La Bianca pizza and added spicy chorizo. With a side house salad. Definitely plenty of food! They have tvs on thewalls, great for sports viewing or a quick bite with a friends. The Brookllyn Ave Co. Is a great place to have a slice of pizza or share a pizza with your significant other or a whole pizza... together. There's a bar in the restaurant to enjoy drinks as well as a selection of wines. Besides having pizza there areother unique items such as the wings with flavors you may have not ever had. Such as a traditional Mexican mole flavor. Thewings were so unbelievable with a flavor of wanting more, the salad and the homemade ranch dressing was nothing we had evertasted before and the pizza had just the right flavors of a Margarita pizza and the Panna cotta with berrys for dessert wasamazing. Kudos to Chef Mario Christernas for opening a new pizzeria in Boyle Heights during the pandemic. I have been hearing about this... new place from a lot of friends. We finally took the time to pay a visit to this new restaurant. I thought I was going to haveBrooklyn style pizzas but the name of the restaurant meant the old street name of Brooklyn Ave before it became Chavez Ave. Butthe pizzas are as just good as the ones in New York. The menu features dishes like mole pizzas and French fries in Chicanopoutine and Chorizo, quest fresco, and cilantro. Although the food is Italian, the flavors are truly grounded to its Latinoroots here in Boyle Heights. You can also get the more traditional pizzas such as Margherita and a shrimp with vodka sauce. Iliked the crust with the great chewiness sourdough taste. I am glad that the restaurant opened for indoor dining. Thedecoration is awesome. With floor to ceiling windows, the indoor dining is very bright and full of energy. With its 100 yearhistory as a former bakery shop, I am sure Brooklyn Ave. pizza Co. will live up to the former glory of this bakery shop. So farl love their pizzas.
